Waleska Animal Care has been a very nice addition to the Waleska communnity. Everytime I walk in the door I know that I am going to get the best, most current, information and treatment for my pets. That is inportant to me, but the friendly atmosphere makes you feel at ease. In the past I have been so concerned about my pets when they were in trouble I did not feel comfortable leaving them and sat in the waiting room until they were ready to come home. That is not the case at Waleska Animal Care. I know that they love their work and all their patients and their sometimes crazy pet parents. I know the veterinary field very well and I know when the people you are dealing with are doing what they do for the passion they have to do the best they can for all animals. My five pets have had everything from yearly vaccinations to surgery there and each time I leave there I feel certain that my pet was given the best care possible. Dr. Martin and her excellent technician, Ashley, are a great team and I would not know what I would do without them. Thank you for your dedication. If you live in the area dont hesitate to give your pet the opportunity to become part of their family.

Very disappointed! We live in Waleska and our Jack Russel Terrier was bitten by a snake and her throat has a large swollen area. A reptile expert we know suspects it was a copperhead. My wife tried to bring the dog in before noon to have it checked and treated but was offered a 4pm appointment because they were going to lunch. How does a vet not care enough to see an animal that has been bitten by a venomous snake, a potentially life threatening situation? I work in the auto industry and we constantly go to lunch late or even go with out to take care of the customer and help them, and these are cars we deal with. The car wont die like our family pet could possibly have! While this vet may have good reviews from others I cant recommend or do business with an organization that puts a lunch break ahead of trying to save an animal life, the very thing they are in business for!

We have used Waleska Animal Care since they opened their doors. We used them for our malamutes until they passed away. Our older mal had a lot of health issues. The care he received by the staff helped him have a longer more enjoyable life. I could not imagine using another facility to care for our 4 legged family members. In the last 2 years, we have adopted 2 female Siberian Huskies. We have continued to utilize Waleska Animal Care because of the caring and knowledgeable staff. We also utilize them for hygiene care as well. Our girls always come home looking and smelling great. I give Waleska Animal Care my strongest recommendation for anyone looking for health and hygiene care for their pets.

In June 2012, my Welsh corgi severely cracked one of his back molars and had surgery to extract it where we lived in Pennsylvania. This happened the day before we were traveling to Waleska to visit relatives. He needed a post-surgery checkup 10 days later to make sure the extraction site was healing properly. The professionals at Waleska Animal Care were great about taking us in even though we were from out of town and they had never seen us before. I could tell that the care we received matched the excellent care I had come to expect from my vet of 12 years in PA. Now that we are living in Waleska, I plan to make Waleska Animal Care our regular vet.

I tried this Vet because I was less than happy with the one I had been with for years. I was so impressed with the high level of service, cleanliness, and down right friendliness. I was so used to the less than high quality of service that I had forgotton that there are high standards still being practiced! I will highly reccommend Animal Care to anyone looking for a CARING place to take your child (I mean pet, LOL)

Waleska Animal Care was available for my dog to just drop in and get a bath, nails trimmed, anal glands expressed and check his ears. A thorough exam plus comments on his temperament helped me feel comfortable when I picked him up. Price was very reasonable with the Canine Spa Bath costing $26.00. They are convenient since I live in Waleska/Lake Arrowhead. Thank you Waleska Animal Care! Arnold says he will be back!

We had just purchased a home in Canton when our French bulldog, Katie ,came down with a severe intestinal distress. We were able to arrange for treatment for her right away and felt the care was loving and professional at the Waleska Animal Care. Everyone was helpful and followed up to make sure she was getting better. We feel fortunate to have such a great group to help care for our pet.

The doctors and staff at Waleska Animal Care are exceptional. We moved into their area in the later years of our dogs life and they provided excellent medical care and advice and were extremely compassionate with both pet and owners. I recommend them highly. I feel very fortunate to have worked with them them and they will be my first stop when a new puppy comes into our lives.

I have taken my dog to WAC for about 3 years now. Every visit has been an enjoyable and informative experience. I enjoy bringing my dog to WAC because they treat her very well. I have had bad experiences with vets in the past and I am happy to have found such a wonderful vet near my home. The staff is very friendly and all around it is a great atmosphere. Ive been taking my pets to Waleska Animal Care for four years and its the only vet Ive used since moving to the area. My special needs cat received great care for his chronic kidney disease; for which, Im very thankful. The quality of care is excellent and their love of animals (and their humans) is obvious. I definitely recommend this vet!

Waleska Animal Care is the best in the business. We have had all of our cats and dogs within out entire family (10 cats and 5 dogs) taken care of. This is a business not out to get your money but to extend quality care. I would recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work!

Wow!! What a great team they have. I went in with my 2 yr old very wild pit bull and they knew exactly how to handle her and take care of all of her needs. Ive never been to such a nice and well ran vet before. They definitely gained a loyal customer.
