This vets office deserves more than 5 stars! The office is very clean and the staff is amazing. We brought a pregnant kitten (probably 6 months old) into our home so she could have her kittens in a safe, clean environment. Mommy had 4 kittens, after caring for them for the recommended 12 weeks, we called rescue groups, we called different vets offices, we called friends, and family, still we could only find two of these wonderful kittens a home. A family member recommended we contact Powder Springs Vet Clinic, we sent them an email with the pictures of our kittens and the mommy cat, the staff responded very quickly to our email, after chatting back and forth, they told us that between them and a rescue group that could help us get them spayed, neutered, and vaccinated if we would want to keep mommy and her two left over kittens. We had already fallen in love with all of them including the ones that had found homes, so of course we told them yes! A couple days later we got to bring all of our kitties home spayed, neutered, and vaccinated. Their recovery did not take long and they are happy as ever! I love this vets office and I would recommend them to anyone! We am so appreciative of their help and it truly was a blessing!

So for the month of June, they only take walk-ins. You absolutely cannot make an appointment the entire month of June. So I figured, its Saturday, they open at 8am, so Ill get there around 8:30. The waiting room was full and I have an energetic puppy so I called to check in over the phone. At 8:34am. I checked in and shortly thereafter a nurse brought me the paperwork to fill out. At 8:48am, I turned it in and asked how long she thought the wait would be. "Theyre moving pretty fast so Id say 15-20 minutes". Cool, no problem. I sat outside, played some Candy Crush, chatted with other owners...and then I checked the time. 9:35am. An hour after check-in. So I call the front desk, thinking Im probably next to be called, no biggie. Nope, two more people in front of me. I confirm again that I definitely cant make an appointment and Im told "well during the week its much slower". Well naturally. Because people, like me, work. But thanks for the tip. I just cant justify spending more time waiting at the vet than I do my own doctors office. Super disappointed.

I have been going to Dr. Kahn for 20+ years now. I have never even considered going anywhere else. I find him to be very knowledgeable and he loves animals. He has cured my dog who was in stage 1 of heartworms. He had to put down that same dog at 17yrs old. She was a Border Collie mix and it is unusual for them to live that long. The experience of that was very tender with him and the staff. They we so caring and compassionate. At one point she had developed cataracts and he asked me to please try a new medicine that was supposed to clear up cataracts and restore her site. This medicine was VERY expensive but I agreed because I trust Dr. Kahn. And, it worked! My dogs eyes cleared up and looked like a young pups eyes at 15yrs old. I have 2 new dogs now that Dr. Kahn treats and he does a fantastic job with them. Dr. Kahn is a fantastic vet! I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who treasures their animal. They will take very good care of your pets. I have used the kennel and grooming services and was just as happy with them.

This place made me very upset and I will never go back or recommend it to a friend. We took our baby there to be neutered. When my husband picked him up, they did not take the time to show him his incision, tell him that he had staples, tell him when he needed to come back for them to be taken out, or even give him directions on how to care for him. The second he got home, we saw the staples and massive amounts of redness, swelling, and bruising. We called the vet the next day. They jokingly said, "Oh yeah, he has staples. He will need to come back in 7 to 10 days to get them out." That would have been nice to know. It has been about a week since the surgery. My dogs swelling, pitch black bruising and redness has not even began to fade. We are taking him to a different vet to be looked at. I do not trust these people and will never return.

We were so frustrated with our old vet. Powder Springs Animal Clinic got us in the same day for our dog Bugsy! He got diagnosed as Diabetic in April and was not controlled. Dr. Khan and Jamie took time with us to go over diet and increasing the insulin. I felt they worked with us, instead of telling us what we "had" to do. The vet visit was less expensive, and we bought Bugsys food through the vet. The food is Hills Prescription Diet and he loves it! He also seems much more satisfied. I was afraid we could not afford the cost, but it was very reasonable. We are so happy with them, that we are moving all of our dogs (3) to their vet practice. Thanks to all of you!

These people are wonderful Doctor and staff .Our puppy BUBBA,was a very sick one ,.They took him rite in and quickly diagnosed him with the Hook worm and parvo. the treated him.Bubba Is a surviver,but with the love he was given away from home a week .he would not have had made it .God Bless You PowerSprings animal clinic for saying are pitbull puppy BUBBA twice. I have a non-profit group that has been using Dr. Kahn for about 6 mos. now. The level of care and concern from this group of people is fantastic. They show compassion and professionalism with each dog or cat I bring in or send to them for care. They have had several very delicate and complicated medical conditions, and I am pleased with how the pet and the owners are treated. All the staff is friendly and very competent. I give them 5 stars (6 if I could).

Dr. Kahn helps my special needs kitty Vader. She has a chronic condition that requires ongoing care and he helps me be able to provide her that. Jayme has gone above and beyond to find resources and ideas to support Vader. I love her for that. I have a lot of cats and I am not wealthy. I trust I am getting my fur babies what they genuinely need. Karen is kind with a smile that lights up the room. Thank you all so much! I am grateful for you and your services.

My Suzy was ready for a summer cut in the grooming area. Cindy is the groomer we see always but she was not in the day Suzy was scheduled. After my husband took her by I got a phone call from Karen asking me how I had asked Cindy to groom Suzy. All I had to say was "summer cut, Schnauzer face, clip her nails and Karen did a great job!!!! Good to know that we have so many talented people working together for our fur babies! at Powder Springs Animal Clinic.
