Our family pets have been going to this clinic for quite some time and when our beagle fell ill we felt it only made sense to bring her here. She had been vomiting for several days and was unable to eat, hold a meal down. We took her in and we were told that she had nerves that ran into her jaw that were severely irritated and the lump behind her ear was due to her battle with chronic ear infections. They sent us home with medications to treat that. The next day we saw no improvement and brought her back to the clinic. This time they suspected she might have cancer of the spleen and we left her in their care over night. They called us that afternoon and said they would be able to operate on her the following day. Our beagle is 11 + plus years old and we decided to get a second opinion and hold off on the surgery. Come to find out on a second opinion, she was suffering from cancer and had a weak heart. She was not operable and deemed terminally ill. If we had followed Dr. Whites instructions our dog would have died a painful death in surgery. We were also told they are supposed to take a full X-ray before they can preform any surgery. My question is why did prepare to operate knowing she was terminally ill and her body was FILLED with cancer? Why did they have no sound answers and was she even properly taken care of the night we left them in their care. She went further down hill when had retrieved her for a second opinion. We have tried to contact them and have come in person and nobody has sound answers. Our dog had to be put down and we are left with the pain and questions. We do NOT recommend this vet clinic to ANYONE. Please check the reviews,we did not.

My husband and I brought our new puppy here today and were not very impressed. The people at the front desk were not helpful at all, we stood there for a minute before they even said anything to us. When we actually got into a room there were a few fleas on the table (our puppy has had a flea bath and hadnt even been on the table yet) When the vet came in he seemed to be rushed. He did not acknowledge the puppy at all. The only time he did was when he checked his temperature then we asked to check is teeth so we knew his age. We had some questions about parvo (weve had a previous case and are paranoid now) and he did not want to do any testing. Finally after explaining that it would ease my mind he did. But he took the puppy out of the room to do it, I didnt get him back for almost 10 mins. When we went to leave there were 2 girls at the front desk, one was on the phone, and the other was copying something off of the computer onto a piece of paper. We had never been to this place before so we werent exactly sure where to pay or anything. Again we had to stand at the front for about 5 mins until finally I asked the one writing stuff down what we were supposed to do, she didnt even look at me when she answered me with "Were waiting on your charts". All in all we will not be back. I have to say, with all of that being said, the assistant who was with the vet was amazing! Too bad she wasnt the vet, she was very sweet and helpful to our puppy and us.

I took my 12 week old puppy for his routine shots and asked the doctor about a scratch inside my puppys ear. When my puppy would not hold still, Dr. Potts wrapped his hands around my puppys neck and squeezed really hard. I was shocked, but did not say anything right away because he was supposed to be a professional and unfortunately I assumed that he knew what he was doing. Again he tried to look in my puppys ear and again my puppy was wiggling around and AGAIN, Dr. Potts squeezed my puppys throat so hard that he was yelping and struggling to get away. This time I yelled for him to stop and my puppy darted over to me quivering and whimpering. I am now having to resocialize my puppy because he is terrified of strangers. I have tried everything to help him realize that not all strangers are viscious and going to attack him, but he is still extremely skittish now. I am having to hire a trainer to work with my puppy to get him over his fears. AVOID DR. POTTS at all costs, unless you also want your animals traumatized as mine is. This was a very unfortunate situation because we have had good experiences with the other doctors at this hospital but will never return for fear that our animals will be exposed to Dr. Potts.

I have spent almost 300 dollars on vet bills from taking my kitten to this office. I took my kitten in for a check up and and they allowed him to come nose to nose with a kitten who had an upper respiratory infection. They never said anything about the other kitten being sick until I brought my kitten back in because he started getting sick. When I brought him back in they told me the kitten he came in contact with has an upper respiratory infection and thats probably how he got sick. So they put him on medication for 7 days ( and from info I got from another vet normal dose is 14 days of antibiotics) so my kitten has now been sick 2 and a half weeks so I took him back to them and the dr we saw said he did want to give him medication because ( he didnt want him to get use to the medicine) so I decided to get a second opinion from another vet office and was advised he has a fever and he is dehydrated and now 218 dollars later he is starting to get better. This vet office is the worst Ive been to.

Always have had an excellent experience with the vets and the staff: and this is what matters most to me. My dog is beyond delighted to return and very happy when she is there for boarding, and she has received great care when in surgery. The front office can be hectic and a little boggled at times, but overall they have things covered and are delivering solid service. The building is a bit unimpressive, but hey - Im not living there, right? Ive never had any issues or complaints. In comparison to my previous years at a major city vet in Atlanta, they do a very fine and equitable job. In addition, their rates are reasonable - though a touch high for boarding, but still fair - and there is always clarity in what the costs are.

This used to be the best vet in the City. Over the last couple of years, we have witnessed a considerable deterioration in the quality of care and a significant increase in cost. Took our sick puppy there last week. Nearly $200 later, nothing done, wife in tears and a thirty minute lecture on the puppys weight. It might be noted that her diet, exercise and food were recommendations from the vets there. We have two dogs and both are on the same diet. Our older dog is healthy and has lost weight. The younger dog continues to go down hill. I suspect something much more serious and will seek a second opinion. Just hope it isnt too late. I guess the empty waiting room every time I am there should have been my first clue.
