Dr. Toth and his Staff at the DHAH are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! We have 2 Shibas and Dr. Toth has taken care of them for almost 13 years. Over the past 12 years, Dr. Toth has successfully treated my dogs for thyroid problems, allergies and seizures -Kaito hasnt had a seizure in years! This past week, Kaito had an Emergency and had a Very Serious Case of Pancreatitis... and I was AMAZED at Dr. Toth and his staff! Kaito was in the DHAH for 3 nights. This emergency was the True Test. I am sure that Dr. Toth saved my dogs life! Within 15 minutes Dr. Toth diagnosed him and he started treatment. Kaito stayed at the DHAH for several days and was so sick he couldnt take his meds... Dr. Toth even found an injection so that Kaito wouldnt have a seizure while he was suffering with Pancreatitis! Kaito is now home with us and getting stronger everyday!!! We love Dr. Toth and the office staff- especially Jodi, Amber and his wonderful Tecs Theresa and Jennifer! They made this whole episode so much easier! Dr. Toth has ALWAYS diagnosed our Dogs correctly and his treatments are spot on! We dont know what we would do without this WONDERFUL TEAM of Loving, Knowledgeable, Professionals to take care of our Babies!!! With much love and appreciation, Kelly and Mark Kovacic

since moving to the area, we had been to three other veterinary practices before arriving at dallas highway animal hospital. we kept feeling like something in the standard care was missing and as soon as we walked into the office of dr. toth we knew for sure we were correct. we felt welcomed as soon as we entered the door. we were happy to see that it was a very clean, well kept space for the humans as well as the pets. you are given attention as soon as you come in. there is never any lengthy wait in a crowded waiting room. we have gone through several milestones with dr. toth and his staff - some happy and others sad. they have always been patient, respectful, and compassionate towards us. our appointments have never felt rushed or status quo. this staff is always willing to answer any question. follow up calls are always made and great care is always given. we cannot say enough good things about this practice. it is a special place in our community. we are quite thankful for all of them.

Over 10 years ago I thoroughly researched top vets in the area after my former vet botched a surgery on my dog and was not healing. After hearing a lot of negative experiences of great incompetence of some other vets but only very positive about Dr. Toth and his super caring staff, my mind was made up. I scheduled an appointment for my dog whos recent surgery hadnt gone well and Dr. Toth made her well with a revision. Over the years the Dallas Highway Animal Hospital family has kept my animals in top medical condition and prolonged their lives by many years. The receptionists,manager,techs,Dr.Toth and williams are super compassionate and well organized. Unlike other clinics that just try to cram as many appointments as they can in and skimp on the dedication of the individual wellfare of your pet. I have never once been disappointed with the most excellent care they provide and would never consider the risk of taking my pets to another vet. They are the best!!!

This is a first class place with an awesome staff that are like family inside. There is no to little waiting. The vet is very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. All are excited to see your furry friend and their owners. There is almost always one to one attention from the time you walk into the door until you are smiling when you say goodbye. After 22 years we have finally found a vet who cares about our animals like we do. There is no high pressure to do all the extras like you get from other places. You get honest feedback and top of the line care from all that work at this facility. Another plus is the building itself is beautiful, clean and has a nice home feel. First impressions mean a lot and you know what sort of place it is when "the boss" the huge cat is at the counter to greet you as you first check in. I found out about this vet from my neighbors and I would highly suggest this animal loving vet to all. It deserves a 10 plus rating!

WOW! Words fail in describing how pleased i am with the knowledgeable and caring staff.Having moved here from years down island where being such a close knit community vets are friends and family as it the level of care,our first visit to a "mainland" vet was poor and focused only on the monetary solution and not the care of a family member.So we looked around for our next visit and saw the high rating DHAH had received so we decided to give them a try as we had a very sick Great Dane and had lost her sister just 18 months ago so we wanted a caring,compassionate and knowledgeable Dr. as well as staff,we found this and more at DHAH i recommend them to one and all and can affirm your loved pet will receive the best and most compassionate care in the metro Atlanta area.Best wishes to one and all and my most sincere thanks to Hillary Chase DVM and the staff of DHAH. The receptionist was nice, but Dr. Gaines, not so much. We brought our cat in because of her sneezing and loss of appetite. Dr. Gaines seemed annoyed because I brought my two very well-behaved children with me. She diagnosed our cat and gave her a shot of antibiotic and a water pouch for her dehydration. She also ran a test to see if her liver was functioning properly. After she was finished she said that she would call the next day to see how our cat was doing. I never heard from her. I also think our cat was misdiagnosed because our she is still sneezing as bad as she was and her appetite has not come back. I believe she is about to die. Also, I checked with a vet friend in another town in Georgia how much Dr. Gaines treatment should have cost and he said $150. I was charged $226. I am taking our poor cat to another vet tomorrow and will never go back to DHAH.

Dallas highway Animal hospital is one of the best I have ever been too. The staff treats every person like they are the only ones who matter. They listen to the cares and concerns of the owners, they are honest and never push a particular treatment because of money. They are all very gentle with the animals and treat them kindly. I have never been dissatisfied with Dallas highway Animal Hospital. I have worked with two of their veterinarians and was pleased with both professionals. The time that impressed me the most was how caring they were when I had to put a very aged, cancer ridden Basset Hound down. I have never felt treated better in any other place, which is why I will not take my animals anywhere else. If you want an honest, caring, and dedicated veterinarian then come to Dallas Highway Animal Hospital!

We recently moved the care of our pet, Buddy, to Dr. Toths office @ DHAH. Both my husband and I appreciate the pristine condition of their office and animal care areas and the very friendly, professional, pet loving staff. You will not regret placing your pet(s) under their care. Another plus, the doctors always follow up with a phone call on your pets treatment. Amazing, especially in the low customer service world we live in. We found their charges for meds no higher than other vet offices. Our neighbor recently used DHAH for a first-time boarding and was exremely pleased with the care and environment provided and the reasonable fees. Her old vets overnight stays resulted in a frazzled and out of sorts pup. Not so with DHAH.
