The facility is clean however, this Banfield location has horrible vets! Some of the vet techs are nice, the red haired one (Jennifer, I think is her name?) is the sweetest, most helpful...(I have no clue why she works with all those assholes). Everyone else I spoke with was unfriendly and stand-offish. If youre bleeding money and willing to put your baby through pointless tests, go here. If not, run. All the vets care about is taking your money. The first time i visited my cat HATED the vet (old man, forgot his name) hissed and everything, they demanded I get her shots and wouldnt let me leave until I did so..the second time, I had Dr.Baker. Two words: Useless and rude. The minute I said "I dont have much money at the moment" she wouldnt even look at my cat..and I paid for an exam. Which means they look at the teeth, eyes, fur, listen to the lungs, etc. She did none of this. All she did was "advise" things since I couldnt afford to run tests that I didnt even make the appointment for. Much more, but Id be typing all night. Overall, this experience was insulting and they didnt help at all, waste of time. I dont recommend this location. Sweetwater Animal Hospital is a much better choice!! Very friendly and cooperative with anything you need !! Its on Lee road, not too far!

We used them back in 2005 for about a year with our previous 2 dogs. They were fine but eventually I choose a local Vet for a more personal attention and to help with local business we do prefer NOT using a National company. However, since my new baby Maltese come into our lifes November 2016 we went back to using Banfield because I have to travel often for business and my baby goes everywhere I go. Early this spring on a trip to Florida she became sick so I looked up the Banfield Pet Hosp in that area and gave them a call they were able to pull up her records. She was fine after a few hours of sleep, but I still had her checked out there and when we returned back to Douglasville. Monica is our favorite doctor! She is very caring and doesnt mind answering a lot of health ??? for the baby. You see I always had Big Big Dogs like over 150 Lbs and this maltese at her heaviest is 5 lbs. The staff makes every effort to get all our needs meet on time and never a rush. :)

horrible horrible horrible. and that does not do it justice. my dog is on the wellness program which means he is supposed to be able to be seen. he got an injury and when we took him there right before they opened we got turned away with them telling us they were to busy to see him. i ended up going and spending 136 dollers at a true vet to get him taken care of. and on this plan his nudering is included in what i paid for but they inform me that my 1 year old lab that weights 52 pounds is overweight and there will be an extra charge for his nudering. after talking to their corporate office it is clear that all they want is your money and when they got it they find a way to get more of your money. i will never have a pet going to them again and if you love your pet please stay away from banfield.

Took my dog here for some bruising on his belly that had popped up. After running test after test, charging me over $300, and telling me my dog must have been hit by a car or kicked or something, we went home with some vitamins to help his bruising heal. Fast forward a couple days and I decided to take him somewhere else for a second opinion. My dog had lymphoma and the bruising was from his spleen being enlarged. We ended up having to get him put to sleep about a week later. Its pretty insane to me that they could misdiagnose such a serious disease. I certainly wouldnt any faith in these people again...

I pulled a three week old kitten out from under my house and needed an appointment to get her checked out. The prices were good but when I called to make an appointment they said they werent seeing any "new pets" until MAY 7! Thats almost three weeks away! They can make appointments for pets theyve already seen but not for pets they havent seen before and that is absolutely ridiculous. If they have time for the appointments they have time for the appointments. What does it matter if the pet has been there previously or not.

Ive been taking my dogs and cats to Banfield for over 20 years. Ive been to several different ones as Ive moved about in Georgia and the one in Douglasville is by far the best Ive ever taken my boys to. The staff is very sweet, quick as possible and helpful. They explain what is going on with the boys, treat them and me with joy and kindness. They are on time with appointments, send reminders, and are courteous even when super busy. Ive never been so impressed with a vet before. Kudos to Douglasville Banfield!

All banfields suck! Why do they even have a sign outside the building on the weekends?! Bring my kitten in because shes sick and needed to see the vet today. Refused to fit us in. Wouldnt even let me buy a syringe(without a needle) so I could at least give my kitten some over the counter anti diarrhea medicine. These vet offices could care less about your animal. They only care about the revenue they make.

Horrible service. First they gave me the wrong appointment time, even have a witness to back it up. When I arrive I wind up waiting over an hour before even being called to the back and there was no one else in the lobby. One woman had already been seen and was waiting for 30 minutes to even pay after being seen by the vet. They appear to be short staff. They need to get their stuff together.

We started with banfield about a year ago. Through that time we adoped a puppy with a liver shunt. The people who work at this banfield were there to help us through the process of finding surgeons and even helped us share her gofundme on facebook and to other store employees. They have been great to work with through this process and I would recommend them to anybody.

My wife Ashley and I have used this location for over three years and have had wonderful service. We have had two dogs fixed there without problems. I highly recommend the entire staff, I would give them two thumbs up.

I actually like this Banfield and its staff!! I had the WORST experience at the one on Camp Creek but they seem to be attentive and actually CARE about my dogs well being.

Not only do they overcharge and rush when seeing your pet, they wont return any phone calls and truly do not care for your pets, just about your money.

I called this vet during an emergency the receptionist kept referring to my cat as "it". Very rude. Will never suggest this vet to anyone
