Pros: Clean facility, looks great as far as design is concerned, great free coffee bar for visitors, great private rooms with showers. Cons: Overnight and weekend skeleton crew nurses are rude and condescending, I caught a guy texting, the facility coordinator was nice kinda, the food was horrible and bland, the rehab my mother was supposed to get never happened, she was isolated and wrongly misdiagnosed by Dr. Brown for something she never had, my mother had major surgery and was treated as though she had to immediately look after herself afterward. She was not attended to well, with the exception of Mary and Elizabeth. Please, if you can, dont put your family in this rehab center!

As a patient in The Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital of Surprise, other than being a new facility, on a scale of 1 to 10; I would rate the patient care as a "2." This facility is understaffed, and some nurses are inattentive to the patient’s needs; with an average response time of 30-45 min. Trash overflows in the wastebasket without being routinely emptied and medical treatment is not preformed or given on a timely basis. Even after addressing my concerns to management, little to nothing has been done to rectify these issues that could improve the service and care of this facility. Therefore, I would personally advise each person to think twice before putting a family member here.

without of doubt the best medical care i have ever had in my 68 years. all of the staff from the cleaning lady to the doctors - the nursing stall is the epitome of what nursing should be everywhere. you eat in a upscale bistro - they come to you each day at breakfast and then map out your meals for the rest of the day - the food is on par with any 5 star in the world - the physical therapies are the best. if you cant tell by now this is like a resort. fred toomoth

One of the best facilities my repeatedly hospitalized wife has been to. Very family friendly (incredibly so! -- even including our pups!), large/private rooms, excellent physical rehabilitation regimens. Would absolutely place a loved one here.

My step dad went here in December 2016, as he woke up one morning and his leg was numb. He was to stay 2 weeks. They discharged him less than a week. He woke up the next day and his 2nd leg didnt work. Communication was horrible.

The staff works with you as part of your rehabilitation team in assessing your needs, goals, and the most efficient, and pragmatic way to achieve them.
