Dr. Todd Russell is a fantastic Dentist and even more important a fantastic person. When you speak to him, instantly you will find the passion and enthusiasm he holds for you on the possibilities with Technology and Dentistry at his office. Dr. Russell is very skilled, you will have confidence in his ability no matter how heavy the procedure will be. One procedure in particular that I know he is really talented in is Dental Implants. Traditionally patients are referred over to other specialist for the Dental Implant procedure, but Dr. Russell can surgically place the Dental Implant and then he can restore the Dental Implant all at his office. He will approach the tooth replacement procedure thinking about the end result, which is making sure that the Dental Implant and Dental Crown looks natural, like nothing ever was missing in the first place! I asked Dr. Russell about his training for Dental Implants, and he told me that regularly is attending seminars and continuing education to be the best at what he does. I know that the Lake Erie Monster Hockey team would not have him as the team Dentist if he didnt know how to replace missing teeth with Dental Implants! I highly recommend Dr. Todd Russell and his friendly staff in Macedonia, Ohio for your Dental needs.

Went in for a cleaning. Was quoted $0 out of pocket for the service, and this was confirmed when I left the office. The next month I received a bill for $248, I called the office immediately and they assured me it was a billing error and that I wouldnt have to worry about anything. The next month I received the same bill, called the office and they said it was an error. This same process happened 4 times until I finally got on the phone with the office manager. She then told me that it was my error for not calling insurance myself and that it is not the offices obligation to call and verify benefits and pricing with insurance. The doctor and staff did a great job with the actual cleaning, but long story short, I ended up with the bill after being told a total of 5 times that I did not have an out of pocket cost for the cleaning.

Despite having mostly positive experiences with them, I will not be returning to Merit Dental due to their billing practices. Despite quoting me one price that I would have to pay for a two-appointment procedure (I do not have insurance), they lowered their discount for self paying patients and refused to honor the original price that I was quoted. And they informed me of this change after the first appointment was completed, when Im not in a position to go elsewhere for treatment.

I see Dr. Rob Dennis at Merit Dental . He is very competent and caring. He takes as much time as is needed to do everything right. The office staff is very friendly and competent also. His assistant is very friendly and competent also. Our former dentist moved to Medina, and I had a bad experience at another dentist before I went here. I would recommend them to anyone.
