Recently, my 15 year old son had a toothache. We gave it a couple days before scheduling an appointment, thinking the pain would subside. Unfortunately, the pain worsened. Coincidentally, we had an appointment scheduled for a cleaning in a week. The staff changed our appointment immediately, and with little notice got time on Dr. Hires calendar to look at my sons tooth. Dr. Hires discovered that my son needed to have an emergency root canal and made time to take care of the issue immediately. The infection was severe enough to make the root canal process longer and involved more visits than normal. Dr. Hires took his time to be sure that all of the infection was gone before completing the root canal. Not once during this long process did I feel nervous, anxious or afraid because I knew my son was in the best possible care. This is not the first time Dr. Hires has taken the time to come in after hours to tend to an dental emergency for our family. I am very thankful that there are still people willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Thank you Dr. Hires for always being there for our family! ~The Konoff Family

I had been going to the same dentist who I really liked since college. He had a brain aneurysm five or six years ago and Corner acquired his practice. I was getting tired of having a new dentist every time I went to corner and also being told I need a crown or some other expensive procedure at every cleaning and was referred to Dr. Hires by my boss. Dr. Hires was very friendly and said my teeth were fine even though corner dental told me at my last visit I needed two crowns and a filling replaced (Im really glad I didnt have the work done). His hygienist Ann was really nice and even called me the day before my visit to introduce herself, welcome me to their practice and ask if there was anything she could do to make my visit more comfortable. I also like that they have humans answering the phones instead of having an auto attendant answer and having to go through a bunch of menu prompts to make an appointment.

I have never left a review, but I feel so upset with the service from the Hires Dental Office in Toledo, Ohio that I am prompted to leave a review. Right from the start of the appointment I felt like I was listening to a sales pitch and the hygienist was impersonal. They tried to up-sell me on fluoride treatment. And it is funny because I have elected to get fluoride treatment in the past after insurance stopped covering it. And would not mind getting it again - but I felt so uncomfortable that I elected not to. I was informed that I had two cavities which would need to be filled. I had a funny feeling when they told me - and so I informed them that I would like a second opinion. So, I got a second opinion - and it turns out that I did not get any fillings. I will not return to this dental practice. Even if I did not have the second opinion - I would have gone somewhere else.

Never thought I would state that my experience at a Dentists office as awesome. I am a new patient of Dr Hires and I must confess I was very hesitant about visitlng the Dentist; even though I had many dental problems. I was still hesitant to see any dentist;but my husband a patient of Hires spoke very highly of Dr Hires and his staff and convinced me I should make an appointment and discuss my dental issues. I was impressed from the pleasant smiles and the warm sincere greeting at the front desk to the "we are here to serve and please you" room service I recieved from the Doctor Hires and his assist Jessicia. What a relief because my hesitation was fear. After my first visit my fears began to subside ..and even though I know I have a lot of painful proceedures to endure..I feel that I am in good hands with the Hires Group..

I have been going to this dentist since I was a child and long before they were in the location they are in now. (30 yrs?) Dr. Hires is awesome! He does a great job on fillings, and crowns Ive had done, does his job quickly and efficiently! I recently had a difficult filling done and the lady dentist that did the work did a good job, I cant remember her name :-( Dr. Hires sister Karen works there and is a great hygienist. Many others are really good also, cant remember names though. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Hires goes through great lengths to make sure youre comfortable. They have gas anesthesia which helps a lot as well as a heated massage chair and headphones to help you relax! I have never had the sedation dentistry done but I know they offer it. I highly recommend giving them a try!

As a patient at Hires Studio for MANY MANY years and having abnormal dental problems, I have felt very comfortable and satisfied beyond words with the care and treatment I have received and am still receiving at their office. I put my whole hearted TRUST and FAITH in Dr. Hires and staff from much experience over this time, He will see things through until completion and my satisfaction., I have found such caring, compassionate people, especially Dr. Hires and my Dental Hygienst, Karen Knowles. I am one of those who dreads going to the Denyist because of childhood experiences but they make it comfortable for me and a nice experience. They have shown me the proper way to care for my teeth and have MY best interest at heart. Thank you to all the satff at Hires Studio Joan M.

This review is from my wife Pat. Today, 10/08/14 She wants everyone to know what a great job Carol did cleaning her teeth, Carole and all the staff are so friendly. Thank you for the excellent service. Pat. Today also 10/08/14 I had an appointment with Dr Hires to have two teeth packed for Crowns, We had a nice conversation while he was working on me, I never had any pain and before I knew it I was done. We first started coming to Dr Hires because of his caring and sharing to Veterans. As a Veteran I felt any person that returned so much to Veterans I would use when needed. When my wife needed dental work, I called Dr Hires, Dr Hires does so much for Veterans that when I met him I had to shake his hand and say thank you from all of us. James Wood.

My son went to the dentist on May 9, 2013 and we had an amazing experience. Both my daughters also use Hires Dental, but my son was very scared about visiting a dentist. He had a horrible experience when he was young, so he did not want to go back to see one. However, he was having some serious pain, so I told him that he needed to go and that Hires Dental Care is the best dentist office I have ever been to. So, he agreed to go and everyone was great! They were all very understanding, and talked him through everything that they were doing. My son felt very calm and comfortable, and is no longer afraid of the dentist. I recommend them to everyone, and will continue to talk all of my children there for as long as they are around!
