My 11 year old dog has gone to Dr. Roose since she was a puppy. Hes got a great way with animals. I think if he wasnt a vet hed have made a fantastic pediatrician. We had an incident recently when my husband tripped on my dogs lead, which was wrapped around her back leg. The force popped her leg out of her hip. We took her to Roose Animal Hospital and though Dr. Roose was performing a surgery and couldnt see my dog immediately, the very helpful and friendly staff talked to him and he said hed see her after the surgery - which was after the clinic was closed. He took an x-ray, did a quick procedure to fix her hip, bound her securely and sent her home to recover with a follow up in three days. I now have a conflict preventing me from returning at the scheduled time and the staff is bending over backwards trying to accommodate me. Their service is wonderful. I highly recommend this vet and this office.

Never taking any of my pets here again. they Misdiagnosed both my dog and my pet rat, and now they are both gone. They told me that my rat just had a UTI and she died 3 days later, they told my my dog just had colitis and he died the next day aka CHRISTMAS EVE! What did they have to say about? Sorry for your loss! Not sorry you spent hundreds of dollars trying to save your dog that we most likely knew was going to die!

These folks successfully diagnosed and treated a kidney condition in my cat who had lost considerable weight and couldnt keep food down. Its now a year later and hes regained his weight and health. I moved away from Plymouth to Ann Arbor, but still take my dog to Roose. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and genuinely care about the animals.

Not as great as other people described. They missed a vaccination that was in the transfer papers from the Humane Society (Bordetela) and so didt recommend / make aware that it was due/expired. Overall, the office staff is not really impressive. For a first time dog owner less than desirable to go there. CHanged vet..
