I used to work at this facility when ran by the initial owner. (Dr. R). He refused to give his employees proper treatment when needed through the American Disability Act. When Dr. Bloom took over his practice, I put my best interest into this facility because I worked there for several years and always referred individuals to his buisness. Dr. Bloom killed my dog and refused to take acknowledgement for his actions. He over prescribed her giving a 80lb dog 2500mg of cephalexin and over 40mg of prednisone daily. In less then 14 days, my dog went into 3rd stage kidney and liver failure. Until that point, she was a very healthy and active dog that originally went to Dr. Manziano that was treating her with holistic/ homeopathic therapy. After 14 days, I had to put my dog to sleep since starting Dr. Bloom treatment. He also did not update his program and when he labeled the bottles they were the wrong mg. I would never recommend anyone to ever go here, over the years I gave this facility over 10k. They have no sympathy for euthanasia, and end up over prescribing medications that lead to more problems in the long run. If you want a doctor who actually cares and knows what they are doing, go to Dr. Rosemary Manziano located in Colts Neck, NJ on rt 34.

Dr. Bloom, his wife and the entire staff are amazing. They are true animal lovers, and genuinely fantastic and professional people. Our experience has been so good here, I couldnt imagine bringing our puppy anywhere else. Dr. Bloom performed a very thorough examination, and offers valuable tips, and information on the care and preventative steps to take with your pet. He will tell you honestly if certain medications are necessary or if its just marketing hype. I appreciate his honest, professional and friendly demeanor. He has a new patient for life. Bottom line...if you love your pets, and want the very best care in a friendly, comfortable environment, look no further than Central Monmouth Animal Hospital in Freehold. Your pets will thank you.

Dr. Bloom and his staff are absolutely wonderful! Ive been to other veterinarians in the past, and while they werent all that bad, they were never really that interested in the long term results of my pets care but thats never been the case with Central Monmouth animal hospital! Im always asked how my pets have been doing since my last visit, and the details of how my care for them should progress weeks or months down the road is always discussed with me in detail before I leave. When my dog was having issues with a leg injury, all of my treatment options were explained to me, as well as the pros and cons of each. Love the attention to detail and true interest and compassion paid to my pets here :) keep up the good work!

Brought my dog in for the annual shots. He mixed up the cocktail of vaccines and gave it to him. Less than 24 hours later he went into cluster seizures. After several thousand dollars to stabilize him at the doggie trauma canter, I returned to his office for the follow up. His attitude was indifferent and he said to me "these things happen". He also advised me to take the dog off the anti-seizure medicine. Of course, my dog was back to the trauma center soon there after. I wont step foot on his property again. He should have his license revoked.

I went to Central Monmouth Animal Hospital as an emergency visit as soon as I got home from work this morning. I was met by amazing staff members who welcomed my dog and I into the facility. My dog was later examined by Dr. Bloom. Everyone we came into contact with was patient, loving, and kind towards my dog and me. I couldnt have picked a better hospital to pop in on early this Saturday morning. We will definitely be using Dr. Bloom on a regular basis from now on. Thank you so much!

We recently visited Dr. Blooms office and just had to share that we had a fantastic experience. Where other locations were concerned to take off my dog Smokeys tumor, Dr. Bloom assured that it could be done. Smokeys tumor was removed successfully and could not be more thankful. Everyone is very pleasant and welcoming. Also prices were very reasonable. Will continue to bring Smokey and any future pets to Dr. Bloom and his excellent staff. I suggest you do the same.

Dr. Neil Bloom, Dr. Neil Bloom assured us with his undivided attention, his knowledge, and frendly personality that our pet was going to be in good hands. He went above and beyond his duties to make sure our female dog received the best possible care he offered. We are happy that she made it through surgery, and now she is able to live a normal life. We have been going to Dr. Bloom for a very long time and have always been extremely satisfied with the care he has given our dogs. His office staff is top notch and always helpful. We travel almost an hour to see Dr. Bloom and he always makes himself available no matter how many questions or concerns I might have. When we go to his office, my 3 Great Pyrenees girls are treated like family!

I have been going to Dr. R for over 15 years. Having pets from bulldogs, to mastiffs, to hairless cats, he has always taken my pets well being as his first priority. Unlike many of the pricey vets around, that are sub par to Central Monmouth, Im blessed to have found such great service so close. Hes honest, and all around a great a doctor.

Very reasonable prices and good service. The vet is very knowledgeable. He actually recommended some over the counter remedies when he probably could have charged for some prescription medication. After having tried several vets in the area I would highly recommend Monmouth Animal Hospitial.
