Lets start from the beginning...I have own about 5 dogs in my life time and I get this new dog from the spca that had paperwork that he has been checked out before he was at the spca. He needed his last deworming medicine so I set an appointment. During the call I told the lady I needed the last deworming medicine and I asked how much it will be and she said like 20 25 dollars. I said ok to that and set an appointment. She told me I need a recent "poop sample" to "to be able to know what deworming medicine he needed" (remember that) So I get there and I said I needed the deworming med, gave her the poop sample and the secretary said ok and a veterinarian will be with you. In the room the vet comes in takes a look at my dog reads the paperwork I had on him then comes back and gives him the medicine. AFTER she gives him the medicine, I ask what did the poop sample say and she said they arent done let me check (didnt the lady say they needed the sample to be able to know what deworming med he needed) then she comes back and said "he is good". So I go up to the secretary and she gave me the bill... Veterinarian check (didnt ask for) Poop sample check (didnt ask for) Deworming med ( wanted) 20 dollars become 85 dollars and was lied to about the poop sample check and was not asked if I want these services they just did them and charged me. All I wanted was a 20 deworming med. Not a way to run a business.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place has no communication skills between doctors or their patients. Brought my dog in on a Thursday for a doctors visit and the vet suggested she get her teeth cleaned. This vet said my dogs teeth looked good and she said no teeth would have to be taken out. She quoted me on the low end of around $250-300. I bring my dog in for the teeth cleaning on the following Tuesday. Around noon I get a call saying my dog woke up and just had FOUR TEETH taken out. I also paid $650 dollars cause I didnt want to fight and they had to put in a catheter and stitches for the teeth taken out. A LITTLE NOTIFICATION WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE BEFORE THEY TOOK OUT THE TEETH. If I knew that my dog would have gotten teeth out I dont think I would have gotten the cleaning done. Now my dogs tongue sticks out and I feed her soft foods. DO NOT COME HERE!!

The female vets are Amazing! They are very caring and gentle with my cats. The male vet...Dr. Book...on the other hand is Awful! Hes cold. I had concerns about my oldest cat after she got rechecked for anal sac problem and when I talked to him he showed no empathy about how my cat had drainage that she never had before after she was rechecked by Dr. Hoy. The receptionist was more caring and helpful than him. Ive been taking my oldest cat there for 15yrs and the only bad experiences shes had there were the times she had to be examed by Dr. Book. From now on Ill be making sure all my cats appointments are with one of the female vets preferably Dr. Carrie Ann Hoy or Dr. Karen Urneizus! Theyre the best! Theyre gentle and take the time to make sure you understand everything.

My fur baby, Betsy, has a bad cough. Dr. Book always provides consistently caring service, patiently listening to each question and answering thoroughly - he is gentle and sweet with Betsy. Fortunately, he suggested ideas to try before going the more expensive ex-rays route. The vet techs are equally as personable and great with each pet. The ladies out front had ready smiles and were fun to talk to - Im happy theyre close by for our pets.

I bought a kitten that was only 3 weeks old and Londonderry Animal Hospital has been great to her. They taught me how to properly feed her and to go to the bathroom until she could do it on her own. Theyre always so happy and friendly when I bring my cat in.

The female vet is good but the male vet is horrible. Has no bedside Manor with the animals. He is very cold and no compassion for the pets or their owners. They have lost my business for good.
