Very disappointing! Been going there for 12 years but not anymore! The care we have received had been declining but we always found one or two vets that we really liked. After they were no longer there, we had problem after problem! The final straw was when we took our one dog for surgery and they did surgery on the wrong site!! They supposedly questioned the area, but never read the previous notes in the file that clearly stated what and where the surgery was to have been done! And no one ever called us to double check either! They did refund our payment, but our dog had to suffer pain in an area that wasnt supposed to hurt! Upon a return appointment for suture removal, they only removed one set of sutures and not the other! We have gotten our pets records and have moved to a better vet! So please beware! If your pet needs a procedure, make sure everyone at the vet is aware of what is to be done! Repeat it to everyone! And make sure they repeat it back to you and that it is written correctly and that anyone and everyone could understand what is supposed to be done!!! Also, while we were waiting in the waiting area to drop our dog off for her surgery, a young pup escaped from a room after it was dropped off for its surgery and was running around...with no collar or leash or any identification! And the worker that it escaped from was in no rush to corral the dog! Thankfully no one was coming in or leaving, otherwise it could have bolted right out the door!!

Twenty years ago I moved to Danville PA with two dogs. At the time the center was a small, two Vet operation in a tiny office next to a video store. At that time both Dr Campbell and Dr Berg were very kind and compassionate with every pet I brought to them for exams. Never once was I made to feel like anything other than who I am, a dog lover that would do whatever necessary to keep my dogs healthy and happy. Both have been there for me in my most pleasant of times, and my most worst of times. Through the years the business expanded and moved to larger quarters, and the staff hired since those long ago days are just as kind and compassionate. There are also quite funny predicaments that the staff had to get me out of, such as the time my Newfoundland got stuck up in the attic over night and when I called the office first thing in the am they sent a staff member over to give him a tranquilizer so we could safely hoist him down the steps and there are the sad times too like when my Newf lost the use of his legs and had to be put down in my home. They always came, no questions asked and I hope now that I have had to move away to a new state that I can find that same compassion, well guiding, and giving professionals that I found in Dr Campbell and Dr. Berg so many years ago.

We had been taking our dogs to St. Francis Animal Clinic in Shamokin. The care we had over 3 months was VERY EXPENSIVE and INEFFECTIVE for 4 large dogs! We were distraught and spending money we (poor farmers) didnt have. Three of our dogs are rescues. We knew we had to find a new veterinary service. While at TSC to pick up some Happy Jack mange products, our cashier told us about Danvilles Animal Care Center and the reasonable and helpful experiences she had. We called and were given a same-day appointment. The care we received and counseling for scabies (for ALL 4 dogs!!!) was not only effective, but gave us confidence in their experience. We also sincerely appreciated that we were not gouged for medications. Sure, we have to drive nearly an hour, but the service is definitely worth the trip! Our sarcoptic mange situation is FINALLY under control and the dogs are healing! We cant praise them enough! Thank you, Dr. Kohler, Heather & staff!

My first visit to the place was well received. They were ready for me exactly on time for the appointment (I got there early), and the staff was very professional. Everything was quick and simple and I was out of there in no time. Highly recommended.

They were the first vet I took my cat to and now that I moved, I realize more how amazing they are. They are very friendly and understanding. They are also inexpensive, aside from surgery, i dont think i paid more than $20 a visit.

Im so glad I found the people at Animal Care Center. I dont mind the longer drive for their doctors. They always take time to make sure I know what is going on, and keep me informed if my pet needs to stay for a procedure.
