Never thought Id say this but, I actually had a pleasant experience at my dentist. I did need allot of treatment done since my last dental visit was over 3 years ago,but my deep cleaning was not that expensive! I thought with 7 cavities and a deep cleaning I was going to pay close to $2500, nope! Try $1200 less. I went to other dentist with what I needed done and they werent remotely close. The Dr. was fair and told me I could do the treatment over time and not all at once. Now I go every 6 months and tell everyone, even if they dont have insurance, Dr. Tran will work with you. Thank you Star Smiles Dental you helped me out even in a difficult situation.

You hear of a lot of dentists that say a patient needs crowns or root canals when its really not necessary, just to make more money. Well dr Tran is definitely not like that. He is a very honest and fair dr. He tells you straight up what you need and doesnt waste time trying to hustle people. The office is very professional, well kept and the staff is very friendly. Prices of treatment are not as bad as other big name dentist offices. They take ppo, dhmo and medicaid insurance. Overall a great dental office.

Horribly unethical dentist. The X-ray machine was down, yet the dentist was able to diagnose 10 cavities "that needed to be capped." He also claimed I would need a special cleaning they would cost an extra $200. My bill was going to be thousands of dollars. I left knowing full well I was being fleeced. I went to another dentist down the street whom only found 5 cavities (with a working X-ray machine), and she only recommended fillings. Here, my bill was less than $250.

Dr. Straw is a great dentist and hes also a great person! Hes really funny and gets the work done. Hell definitely do anything for his patients to make them feel comfortable, satisfied, and happy with their dental experience. I also think its a plus that hes young. He knows all the new ways/treatments in dentistry, so youll know youre getting the most out of your dental work.

Have had nothing but problems with the office staff. Dont know when Dr.Tran is actually there because every time call he is not in. Called 4times in one day to get a prescription and nothing. Called my GP once and it was done. My GP takes better care of my infected tooth than my dentist does

I have watched Dr. Straw with many patients and have seen such a loyalty and trust towards him. He is very willing to go the extra mile to ensure great care. Any challenge he is faced with he will tackle with the patients best interest in mind.

Have always been very happy with Dr. Trans but not with front office. However there has been much improvement with front office staff within the past few months. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Tran was excellent. I was in and out in no time for X-rays and cleaning. Will definitely continue using Dr. Tran for my dental.
