This is a very special and rare type of dental practice. The type of dentistry they subscribe to is called "biomimetic dentistry" There is too much to explain so google search for that term. But basically they try to preserve as much of the natural tooth structure as possible so that you dont ever need to have a crown. And they use special materials that bond and seal the natural tooth. Crowns are very bad in the long run, because your whole tooth will be ground down to stump and because they leak and cause decay under them which can cause major problems for you. Just skip the crown and come here. If you are told you need a crown from another dentist come here and let them look at it first. I had 4 dentists over the years tell me I needed a crown on the same tooth.. so I decided to put it off because it wasnt causing me pain but it was decaying so I came here and all I need was just a filling! Dr Haynie has worked a miracle on my tooth and he is very gentle. It was totally painless but I cheated and took a couple of ibuprofin before my appointment, but still was painless AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Thank you Dr. Haynie for saving my tooth! Oh I am 49 years old and I didnt take care of my teeth very well when I was younger. I wish someone would have told me this when I was in my 20s: "Keep your teeth and gums clean after every meal so brush AND floss 3 times a day after every meal." Even look at getting an intradental brush to keep the spaces between your teeth clean at all times. Get a sonic tooth brush and use it often too. This dramatically reduces the bacteria from getting a hold of your gums and literally eating them (which they will try very hard to do) You will thank your younger self when you get older. I know it sounds like overkill but if you dont youll have a much higher chance of loosing your teeth when you get older which is a VERY expensive and painful prospect. Take good care of your teeth and they will want to stay with you. If you ignore your teeth they will go away.

Every time I got my teeth cleaned here it hurt and my mouth would be sore for several days. Ive never experienced that before in my life. Only had 2 cavities before coming here and every visit they said I had 1 or 2 cavities. My last straw was when I had to get a cavity filled and waited 1 1/2 hours for my appointment because the dentist had to do his son or son in laws teeth. Never called me to reschedule and I wasnt told about this until after waiting an hour. This was the last straw that made me leave. I am now recommending friends to go elsewhere and stay clear from this place. Apex dental in Murray will have my business now. Ive been cavity free since going to them and my husband didnt need a deep cleaning like they said he did.

I just wanted to take a few minutes out of my day to express how happy I am with Oquir Dental. I have seen a number of different dentistsin my life and by far these guys are the best! The staff is friendly and down to earth. I was recently faced with the need for major dental work. Dr Sargent helped me make the best decisions for me. I feel like he had my best interest in mind. They have been honest with me and their pricing was fair and reasonable. Now I am happier then ever with my smile.

The staff is very friendly and the dentist seems pretty good, but I wish they had nitrous gas for people like me who are super uncomfortable with having dental work. Also, it seemed like I always had to hold my mouth open for an extended and painful amount of time. I wasnt always sure if the dentist was doing unnecessary work on my teeth.. My last complaint, which seems petty or strange, is that the dentist starting talking about his political views..it seemed unprofessional and put me off.

I needed a crown done. I read some reviews and this place seemed good. I was very happy with the service. Everyone there was very friendly and the dentist was AWESOME! Dr Sargent was incredibly friendly and answered any and all of my concerns. He made sure I was TOTALLY comfortable. I have very sensitive teeth and I was shocked that he only needed to numb me once. It usually takes 2-3 times other places. Great service and quality work! I will definitely be going there again.

This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. You only get one set of adult teeth so I wanted to know what my options were. Dr. Haynie answered every question I had and explained what he did and why. He does what is best for your teeth. Dr Haynie was happy and fun to talk to. When I needed a break from holding my mouth open, I just asked and it wasnt a problem. The staff was great. Ill go to Dr. Haynie until he retires.
