My overall cleaning experience for myself and my children was good. I appreciate the entertainment for my children as well such as Netflix or Pandora, that really helped with keeping my son distracted from what was going on. However, my husbands experience has not been the same. I would say there needs to be some improvement in some of the process. I booked all 4 appointments on Nov. 16 2015 for the appointment at 10 am. My husband called that week prior to that Saturday to try and add his daughter however there wasnt an available appointment. Saturday we get to our appointment around 9:45 am. They lady tells us there has been a problem, and they can not see us. She said the rep. could not verify our insurance so we would need to reschedule. I was confused as to why it couldnt be verified, because I had given them all my information. She said mine nor my husbands could be verified, I was really shocked by this. So we rescheduled for the next Saturday at 11am. I called my insurance that following Mon. Dec 14, and to no surprise they said your insurance is good. So I ask them, well do you have any records of a dental office calling to verify my insurance benefits, the rep informed me nobody had contacted them, or faxed them and there was no record of the call. The same information was given to my husband with his insurance company, they did not receive anything either. So I called back to Mint, and eventually a supervisor was able to tell me nobody called to verify our insurance until that Saturday morning!! Well of course the insurance company was closed on Saturday, but they didnt use the automated system either. So that same week I called several times to be sure our insurance was going to be verified before I drove all the way there again on Sat. Dec 19. They were able to verify insurance for all of us. So we get there everybody is able to be seen, but now my husband cant get his teeth cleaned, that too has to be verified by insurance! My entire issue is why are these things not being verified before coming! I completely understand some of the issues with him and his teeth cleaning, but if I am making an appointment for a teeth cleaning I think it is only fair that if insurance needs to be verified that ALL the different levels of teeth cleanings should be verified BEFORE I come in. Because he basically just wasted his time. Not to mention he needs 2 teeth pulled and he has already waited and entire year, because his insurance is making him wait and now he has to wait longer. Like I had stated previously though my overall experience with my dental cleanings as well as my children went well. The process to get there should be a lot smoother though.

I have to say it...WOW!!!! I recently went to the Mint Dental on Little York Rd. in Houston for a cleaning and tooth extraction. When I walked in the door, I was greeted by two lovely young ladies who greeted me with a very happy "Welcome to Mint Dental" in stereo! I immediately noticed the uplifting and encouraging music they had playing on Pandora Radio. They gave me a few forms to sign in order to assess my current health condition. After I returned my signed documents, the receptionist asked if I wanted water, earphones, or a digital tablet while I waited. They were so nice and professional! It was not long before I was asked to come to the back for X-rays. The staff was very polite and considerate. They were professional, and it is easy to see that cleanliness is very important to every staff member. I had the pleasure of dealing with April, Dr. H, and wonderfully experienced Dental Hygienist, whose name I do not recall sadly. They were all concerned about my comfort and performed their jobs exceptionally well. After my tooth extraction, Dr. H was very considerate in asking how I was feeling after the procedure. I later realized, when I returned home, that I did not have my extra tube of tooth whitening solution, nor did I receive my $50 discount as per the promotion. I was told I would receive those items if I made an appointment that same week that included a procedure. The next day, 2/11/2016, I received a call from a Mint Dental associate named Pauline, who called to make sure I was recuperating from the previous days procedure. I explained to her that I was feeling fine, but I did not receive the free items promised when I made my appointment. She told me she would check into it with her manager, then call me back the same day with a resolution for the problem. I did not expect a call until closer to the end of the day, but she called me less than 30 minutes later with all of the free items I was supposed to receive and then some! She handled my problem quickly and courteously the same day! I thought the pricing for services was a bit, but overall I was very pleased with the high quality of service I was provided with at Mint Dental. It is such a blessing to find a business that actually lives up to what they promise! I highly recommend Mint Dental to anyone who is in need of dental services.

This must be what being rich feels like. Business in the front, party in the back; At my dentist I got to finish the last episode of "NARCOS", on a flat screen! I think thats just dope(Pun)personally. I was skeptical from everything I heard from all the radio ads. Just sounded too good to be true, and Im tired of being over promised and under-delivered. Its all here! The Beats, Netflix!, Flat Screens on the walls of every Heated-Massaging Dental Chair Stations(seems like they have over ten booths, so very little wait if any), Free Teeth Whitening w/PPO, State of the Art Equipment, Courtesy, and Professionalism. I would have never written this 5-STAR review if MINT dentistry hadnt impressed me by going above and beyond to earn my business. From the very moment I walked in the door I was greeted by Bailey and her warm smile. It felt good to be at a business and see that the people working there are wanting to be there, are happy to be there, and happy that I was there. The next time I came in Bailey remembered my name, and Jazmin made sure that my dental hygienist Jackie (who is awesome, with a good taste in music!) knew I was there and was right up. A Couple Final Notes: 1. If you get the free tooth whitening ask for Miguel who will make and explain the process of making your molds right in front of you. You will also be able to see your teef ( I just wanted to type teef *teeth, because its funny) on the flat screen and also the dentist can see your teeth so when they meet you the first time they have already seen your teeth. 2. Ask about their $5 dollar a month pay plan if you need to get some work done and dont have all that upfront money! 3.They have MINT dentistry all over Houston, and opening up more. I actually found out I have a MINT dentistry right next to my house; not even a 3 minute drive, but the W Little York Rd. locations is worth the 30 minute drive, because they are just that good at what they do! Thank you Bailey, Miguel, Jackie, Jazmin, and Dr. Patel!
