I loved this veterinary hospital when I first started going there, but in recent months the service has declined severely. The vets are very knowledgeable, but the front people who answer phones and take payments seem completely disinterested in providing consistent, attentive or efficient service. I wait on hold almost 15 minutes every time I call. They stop answering the phone 10 to 20 minutes before they "close" for the day and even when I have an appointment I have waited up to an hour and a half past my appt time to even be shown to a clinic room. I am looking for a new vet. Hopefully I can find a place with as knowledgeable veterinarians but better customer service.

Hes an amazing vet. He literally saved one of our dogs lives by giving her the diagnosis we had been searching for for 10 years and that no other vets could find. Wed seen so many vets over the years looking for answers! He is extremely knowledgeable. You definitely feel like hes taking the time to know your pet and understand what is going on. We wouldnt trust anyone else. I joke and say hes like a "mad scientist" just because of the sheer volume of info he knows. He has came in the room and sat on the floor so my dogs could go up to him and get comfortable before the exam. Extremely personable and professional.

Never going back! I took my hamster Oreo in for a check up because I had just lost my previous hamster. We have had experience with Dr. Verner before. Not all amazing. First, he would not keep her in her carrier. He took his eyes off her constantly while the top of her carrier was off. She ended up falling from the 4 foot counter because of his carelessness. We took her in yesterday so this is when this all happened. Unfortunately, because of him, she passed away between last night and this morning. RIP Oreo.

Let me start with the staff first! They are absolutely awesome! They understand that you are concerned about your babies and they are very sensitive to that. The Dr. is just the best, he went over and above to rule out everything and make sure my baby was sent home well on his way to becoming healthy again. I called this morning and they made sure my baby was taken care of today! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Dr. Verner and the lovely people that work at Sweetwater are wonderful. They know my pets are my family and treat everyone like we are a part of their family too. Its truly great to have an animal hospital I trust and love. Thank you for loving the animals the way you do!

Dr. Bream did an excellent job helping me with favorite dog. When I described my challenge with a Animal Hospital near Piedmont Park, the receptionist was able to create a last minute appointment on a Saturday when there was no time available. Such a great experience.

Pretty good first visit. I took my one year old Guinea Pig there. The front desk staff are very friendly and good working. Dr. Verner was amazing. He treated my Guinea Pig like it was his own. The visit was about 45 dollars. I will most definitely return. :)

Phenomenal staff!!!! Ive taken my pups there for many many years and absolutely love Dr. Verner!!! Any questions or concerns are always answered, extremely informative, and genuinely caring people. I will recommend this place to anyone in the area!!

Dr. Verner and his team treat me with respect and my dogs with love. I love a vet who will nuzzle a dog and get down on the floor with them. The techs and the office staff are wonderful. I cant say enough about them without gushing.
