I went to The Eye Center for my annual exam in December. Got some trial contacts and then placed my order in February. Got my contacts and I couldnt see out of them. Tried them for a week thought it was me but it wasnt someone ordered me the wrong script. Called The Eye Center and basically was made to feel it was all my fault. Had to get two more trials and make another appt. Went on May 22nd to see Dr. Warner for her to check my eyes to make sure the contacts were fitting properly and to order my new contacts. I was going on vacation on June 15th and still no contacts so I called. Guess what they werent ordered....by then my blood was boiling I was so mad but I kept my composure. I was told I would get a call back once they found out what happened...nope never got one so I went on vacation with old contacts in my eyes. I got a call today, June 20th to tell me my contacts were in. I said it is about time. So after I had to call it only took 3 business days to get my order it better be free too because I already paid for the previous ones that werent even my script. I am very disappointed in The Eye Center and I am not sure I am going back.

When I came to the Eye Center of Central PA in 2016, it was a scary situation. I am a graphic artist by trade, so I need my eyes to earn a living. Both of my eyes were failing due to very aggressive cataracts... My vision turned so poor, so quickly that I could no longer drive, read a magazine or use a computer! Even something as simple as watching TV had become nearly impossible. My entire world was a blur, like looking through Saran Wrap. Dr. Hartzell and his entire staff were very assuring, comforting and confident their procedures would help me. Every step of the way they were efficient, organized and completely professional. Their cheerful demeanor before and during my surgeries, and at every follow-up appointment since, has proven I made the right choice for my eye care. The results? For the first time in 50 years, I no longer need glasses! Waking up each day with nearly perfect vision (20/25) is a true blessing in every way. My wife and I thank Dr. Hartzell, his nurses and staff for all their compassionate assistance and care. — James & Lori Wittlich

My mother n law had an Apt for 3:15, 2 hours later still waiting for her to see the doctor! Seriously I get things happen and they fall behind, have the courtesy to atleast tell your patients! This is ridiculous

They book way to many apps at once. Long, long wait. Plan on a 2 hour or more wait from start to finish.

Unless you schedule your appointment first thing in the morning, expect to wait...a long time.
