If you are looking for exceptional customer service and a friendly extremely knowledgably staff, look no further! I have been going to Shady Grove Eye & Vision Care for contacts and glasses for over 10 years and they truly are the best. Last year I asked Dr. Glazier about getting LASIK. It’s something that I really wanted but the thought of eye surgery was overwhelming and a bit scary. I didn’t really know much about it. Dr. Glazier sat down with me and went over every detail. He provided all the information and options I needed to make my decision. He answered every question I had and made sure I was absolutely 100% comfortable with the whole thing. He referred me to an excellent surgeon in the area and the results were fantastic. I couldn’t be happier! My post-op appointments with both Dr. Glazier and Dr. Yecheskel have been wonderful. I truly feel I never would’ve been able to make my decision about LASIK without the help of Shady Grove Eye & Vision Care. Over the years I have referred several friends to them! I would never even consider trusting my eyes with any other practice.

I went here on the recommendation of two co-workers. I was able to request an appointment online and received a confirmation within 48 hours. I had some issues with filling out the paperwork online, but filled them out in the 15 minutes before my appointment time, which started as scheduled. The assistant did the usual pre-exam tests with all the fancy machines and then sat me in the exam room, where I barely read a page from my novel before the optometrist came in. Dr. Mahtab Vaziri got me set with a fresh pair of contact lenses and 4 sample/travel boxes of lens solution. The optician helped me figure out the best way to use my insurance benefits towards glasses or contacts. We determined glasses were the way to go this visit, so she helped me pick a frame Im really excited about and said theyd be ready in a week. My appointment was Monday and my new glasses were ready Friday. I live in DC and wasnt able to get there before they closed, but since theyre open until 7PM early in the week, Ill pick them up this afternoon.

This place is awesome! I found it online by googling: "Best eye doctor in rockville" and they were the first hit that accepted my insurance. I loved their ease of making an appointment online. I requested on on Monday and got one for Wednesday of the same week. Their customer service was the best Ive EVER seen in a eye doctors office. And Ive been to quite a few. I was seen by Dr. Hernandez and shes really nice, helpful and explains everything to you. They have the latest and greatest technology and I was really impressed! After several bad experiences with getting new glasses (bad prescription, lense falling out, misaligned lense) I really appreciated their willingness to help me find what I liked, not just what I needed. I also want to mention that I got a dilation test at around 10:45am and I can see clearly again now at 1:00pm. Thats SO fast! Overall, Google is right these are the best eye doctors in Rockville. Grade = A+

Ive been going to Shady Grove EVC for almost 15 years. I have always had extremely bad vision (both myopia and astigmatism). Because of this, the contact lenses that I use are generally on the bleeding edge of technology.. Dr. Glazier is always well educated in the latest and greatest lens technology. Moreover, because of my vision issues, fitting contacts to my eyes is not a "cut and dry process." It can take several lens trials to obtain the lens that best matches my vision. Dr. Glazier is very patient optimizing and retesting/reordering my lenses until they provide me with the best vision quality. Sometimes this may take four or five visits to accomplish this. I think sometimes people think that ordering contacts and glasses is like ordering fast food. For many with better vision, that may be the case, but for me and my vision challenges, Im very grateful to have someone like Dr. Glazier and his staff available.

Ive been wearing contact lenses for the better part of 20 years. I need toric lenses, and every doctor before has told me that they could not get my vision to be perfect. I felt like my eyesight was getting worse. Dr. Glazier prescribed a different manufacturers lens for each eye. Not only do these lenses not dry out like my old ones, but my vision is perfect! They have the latest equipment, and a wonderful team. I like the fact that although they may not be the cheapest vendor, they include six months of ongoing care as part of their fee. So, they may not be the lowest bidder. You may just have to pay a few percent more for the best vision care. After years of paying less for poor vision, I can tell you it is worth paying a few bucks more to be able to see and know you are getting outstanding care.

I recently went to Town Center Eye Care and saw Dr. Lauren Rubin. I must say I was very impressed! The office is located one block down the street from the new Rockville Town Center - it is a convenient location, and since it is not in the Town Center itself parking is much easier. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they were able to answer my questions about my insurance plan (which they take). Dr. Rubin was very friendly and approachable and the exam was thorough and comprehensive. I decided to bring my children - ages 4 and 7 - to see her later on. She was very patient examining my kids and made them feel at ease. I will definitely be going back to Town Center Eye Care and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an Optometrist in Rockville!!

When I went in for my annual exam I brought a pair of glasses that had snapped in the middle. It turns out they were still under warranty and the staff swapped my lenses into a brand new identical pair while I was in with the doctor - it was fabulous! I got lucky that they had the same pair in stock for sure, but the free and no hassle service had nothing to do with luck. I have been a patient for almost 15 years and I cant say enough about this practice - I wouldnt go anywhere else! Its obvious that the doctors really care and are looking out for me and my health - a rare level of service nowadays. They take the time to explain everything and their technology is top notch - I could actually see my floaters in 3-D and color this time - amazing!

I have been going to Dr. Glazier for years now and LOVE his entire staff who are always upbeat and personable just like the doctor but what I also love is you will never get a " I dont know" as a response to a question or ever made to feel like you are a burden bc you asked a couple questions and everyone there knows there stuff n so they can get busy sometimes where I might have to wait a week to see my doctor and have no problem with that bc once you become a patient here you will never want to deal with anyone else ever again bc all those other places really could care less if your prescription is right but they care n want you to be happy . Dr. Glazier has an awesome sense of humor n always gives me a few laughs while my eye exam is going on too.
