My father has been his patient for 2 years and he has never even known him to have Alzheimer disease until my mother told him. Yet it is so obvious, makes you wonder what kind of doctor he is. Then my mother was having a horrible weekend with my dad. His bowels were so backed up and all he knew is he hurt every where and continually felt that he had to go to the bathroom. He was on and off the toilet throughout the weekend. She called Dr. Sharps office and wanted to get the doctor on call or have someone leave the doctor a message. She explained what was going on. She was told someone would call her back. They never called back. She called again Monday and explained that she needed the medicine they had given him last time this happened that she had been up with him all weekend and desperately needed help. Again they said they would have someone call her back and again this never happened. My mother says he treats them as old people that should just be dead. That he doesnt try to help them live the life they still have left but treats them as they are already dead. Its honestly degrading. She would not recommend him to her worst enemy.

Avoid this office. I do like Dr. Sharp, hes good at spelling things out and helping you understand whats going on. The problem is that hes only in the office on Fridays so its rare that you actually meet with him rather than one of the nurse practitioners. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK after my last visit. That was the last straw. I showed up 9 minutes late for my appointment (my bad) and was told I had to reschedule. I pleaded to get in since I arranged to miss work for the morning and the lady at the front said "Theres nothing I can do." She didnt even TRY to help or act like she cared. Very cold and non-sympathetic. Even though the appointment before me was still waiting in the lobby they told me too bad. It made me feel unimportant and uncared for, like they have too many patients to give any of them quality care. I have been going to Dr Sharps office for the past 6 years and had other minor issues, but I will be finding a different family Doc moving forward.

I cannot in my right mind believe any physical therapy exercise is worth $1,200.00 an hour. On my visit they led me to believe that part of my visit was covered with the doctor visit charge. It took them 5 min to teach me how to do an exercise. They charged $96.00 for this (on top of my regular visit). This works out to be $1,200 an hour. When I called to tell them I thought this was a little high price they had me fill out paperwork to get the price reduced. They denied it with in hours and told me they wouldnt lower the cost. They also did not call me with the result of my blood work, and when I called to find them out, they explained that they Never call with good results. I am very disappointed with this office especially since I really liked them. It also took them 3-4 months to send a bill for my husbands visit. After speaking with the front desk they informed me Dr. Sharp is always so with his billing.

Went to him to get a referral, needed to have a primary care doctor. Didnt listen to my concerns or my symptoms, immediately told me what he thought I had and gave me a prescription. I later found out that had I taken the prescription it could have had detrimental side effects, which would have been avoided had he taken the time to look at my file and listen to my concerns rather than ignore me and tell me what he thought was wrong with me. Every interaction with his staff over the phone has left me feeling very belittled and upset. I will be switching doctors and would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Im sure some people have good experiences but mine was not.

I went to him because I had extreme acid reflux with pain going to my back. I was pretty sure something was causing it because it came on suddenly. He did not ask me any questions about it. All he did was tell me a 20 minute story about some relative who lived in the Middle East and tell me to keep taking Prevacid even though it wasnt fully working. He did not do any kind of physical exam and no tests. We have a high deductible plan and the cost to go to him was somehow $130 even though most specialists I go to end up costing $100 on the same plan and actually do stuff doctors are supposed to do. Not impressed and I would never recommend him.

Ive known Dr Sharp for nearly 20 years. Hes still the best diagnostics doctor Ive ever been to. Thats saying something, too. Im "blessed" with lousy genes so have had 19 surgeries over the years, with more to come if I live long enough, so have been to a lot of doctors. I have a couple specialists Dr Sharp has referred me to who are also good. I trust Dr Sharp and recommend him to honest people who arent looking for a doctor as a safe space, but actually want the truth.

I love Dr. Richard Sharp and his office staff! He is a fantastic Dr. and always listens to me and offers me great advice and is very easy to talk to! His staff is wonderful and they are always so helpful with any office related requests. They are managing my sons medicatuons while he is on his mission and they make it very simple for me to get his prescriptions to him! I highly recommend Dr. Sharp!

Hes famous for running late (what doctor isnt), but also famous for breaking things down so I can easily understand how things works. Everything from how a drug and your body work, and his thoughts and procedures to take to correct course of action to treat your situation. Always willing to take time to help me understand. Great memory of things not on the doctors record!

Dr. Sharp seemed very knowledgeable and was personable. Had to wait in a FREEZING room for over 30 minutes. I came early for my appointment as requested so that means I was waiting for about 40 minutes, and that NEVER makes me happy. (My time is just as valuable as a Dr.) Otherwise it was a fine visit and I received answers to my questions.

I went to Dr. Sharps office today for a routine checkup. My appointment was mid afternoon so I was concerned that it might take a while to get in. Instead I saw the NP literally within 3-5 minutes. My wife had told me good things about her and now I agree. She was very helpful and seemed to guininely care. Two thumbs up.

I was able to make an appointment and get in within the same hour. Everyone was courteous and helpful. The nurse there(sorry I forgot your name )was great and listened to my concerns. Dr. Sharp is always to the point and got to the root of the problem immediately. Thanks to all of you for making that office visit great.

Ive been going to Dr. Sharp since I was 5 years old. He is very educated and makes sure that he is current on everything. I always feel like walking out of his office that I was not only taken care of by my doctor, but educated on my problem, options, and why things may happen. I highly recommend Dr. Sharp to anyone.
