I have been a patient of Dr. Doyle for over 6 years. He is, without a doubt, the kindest, most caring and well-informed physician I have ever seen. As a former nurse, I know how things should go. He and his wonderful staff always go the extra mile for me. I was hospitalized, with complications for my several autoimmune diseases for a week in November 2015. Even though he has a multitude of partners that are there to help see his patients so that he doesnt have to every single day, he was not only there himself every single day- he came several times a day. I only saw one other physician in the time I was there; Im guessing he was asked to see me to give a second opinion- or maybe he was a specialist. I dont recall much from this time. I was very sick and, therefore, unresponsive for nearly a week. My fiancé was by met side nearly 24/7. He was the one who told me that Dr. Doyle came to see me several times a day. He also communicated very well with my fiancé and kept him very well informed. I am eternally grateful for the exceptional care he has always given me and how he made my situation less terrifying. While, I dont have the best insurance and therefore can not get into the only (probably extremely busy) Rheumatologist that takes my insurance; Dr. Doyle and his wonderful staff made great efforts to try to get me into said Rheumatologist and when that failed, he has made great efforts to understand my autoimmune diseases so that he could better treat me. He has one of the best bed-side manors I have ever seen- and thats coming from someone who has worked with hundreds of doctors. He always remembers little details about my life and tries to bring a much needed and appreciated humor into what can be a dark, lonely, painful world. You can tell that he truly cares about his patients. Its apparent that he feels personally affected by the well-being of everyone he takes care of. He is obviously a very popular Doctor. He probably has a heavy patient load. And can sometimes be hard to get into. But, it is always worth the wait. I rarely have had to wait more than 15-20 minutes from the time I check in to the time he enters the exam room. But, I know that when I have to wait longer its because he is taking care of someone who needs it and would do the same for me. Its my sincerest hope that he continues to practice medicine for a long time. I dont what I would do or where I would be without him. Thank you Dr. Doyle- for everything; from the time you help me find a diagnosis to this very day.
