I had my first baby with them about 2 years ago, back when they were Timpanogos Womens Center. I loved them. I liked all the Midwives on staff and the office was always great at taking care of scheduling and payments. Now Im pregnant with my second one and went back expecting a similar experience. Wow! Since they have become Central Utah Clinic they have really changed. The midwife staff is different (more about that later) and the office cant seem to get anything right. Ive had scheduling issues and no one seems to remember when a payment is due or not. I feel like they are as familiar to me as a random gas station attendant. However, it was my appointment today that is making me want to change providers half way through my pregnancy. Leanne is a new midwife there (within the last two years) that I saw today and was so offended by her bedside manner. She has never met me and doesnt know anything about my medical history, but the first thing out of her mouth was, "Have you really gained 8 pounds since your last visit?" She then proceeds to tell me exactly how much protein, fruits, veggies ect. I should be eating and that Im eating too much sugar and fats. HUH? First of all, this is my second pregnancy and I weigh less than I did with my first. Just before I got pregnant I lost 50 lbs. and know about nutritious eating. I go to midwives so that I dont have to put up with self righteous doctors who dont take the time to get to know you and think you are absolutely ignorant. If you are really concerned about me why not asks some questions to get to know me, my health history, and if my weight is a concern? She then went on to tell me how Im at risk for gestational diabetes and that if people think Ive just gained weight they should be able to tell that Im actually pregnant soon. Are you kidding me? Who says that to anyone, let alone, what midwife tells that to her patient. I cant recommend these midwives, even though there are still a few on staff that are great. The thought of having that offensive woman be on call when I deliver makes me sick. YOU NEED TO GET RID OF LEANNE BEDELL!

My first experience: I came a few months ago thinking I might have a cyst. I went in they sent me to another location for an ultra sound which came up as normal. It took 2 days longer than they told me it would to tell me nothing was wrong. I had to go in and bug them for almost an hour to get them to tell me I was fine! My second experience: I called to make an appointment because I missed my period and have gotten a negative test and wanted to do a blood test. They set me an appointment for the Provo location. I got there 20minites early to find out it wasnt at the Provo location it was at pleasant grove. I spent an hour of driving time and gas wasted. I called to make sure it would be ok that I was late and they said it was fine and itd be ok if I was a few minutes late. I get there and they tell me the doctor I had an appointment with left. They gave me another provider who tested my urine for infection and pregnancy and then sent me away saying I probably have pcos and should take birth control. Me and my husband are trying to get pregnant and the doctor did not listen to me when I was saying I thought I could be pregnant and would like a blood test. He assumed I had something he did not test me for and then sent me away telling me I didnt have an infection and wasnt pregnant and kept emphasizing birth control. I took a pregnancy test in the morning and it was positive. This place treats you like a number get in get out reschedule you constantly and overbooks. I will not be using this clinic in my pregnancy

I have been seen here for almost 6 years and I have loved every minute of it. They care about you, some more than others though. I have gone through a stillbirth and two miscarriages with them, in addition to one child and another on the way, and have always felt cared for. I even had one of the midwives ask if we wanted to have a house call after my stillbirth so I didnt have to see all the pregnant women/babies. Thats service. I will admit that I havent been too fond of their merge with central utah clinic (cuc), but that has to do with billing issues I have had in the past with cuc. They have worked with me though and do my billing through their office rather than sending it to the main billing office. But the switch also had Dr Saunders leave and that I was good with as he was the only one I didnt like there. The only time in 6 years that I have waited for longer than 20 min to see the dr was because he was the on call dr and was at the hospital delivering a baby. So waiting forever is not the norm. They have a play room for kids as well as toys in every room. The NST room is amazing and comfortable. the ultrasound experience is beyond comparison to anything else, especially the hospital (who wont let you see the screen at all, where cuc has a big screen for you to see). Theres an on-site lab, and everything seems to run pretty smoothly. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Really disappointed with this office. We have been with them for two pregnancies. Dr Young has so many patients he cant remember who we are. They are always in a hurry and dont really take time with patients. We had our second child at 11 in the afternoon, but since our main doctor, Dr Young, wasnt on call that day, they sent another doctor who was on call to handle our situation. He has no idea what our history was, checked my wife when he shouldnt have (she was in pre term labor at 32 weeks and we were told by Dr Young that she shouldnt be check at all since it could and did start her delivery), wouldnt listen to the nurses at the hospital about how the labor was progressing, and DIDN"T EVEN MAKE IT TO DELIVER THE BABY. Firstly, why not listen to the nurses about how fast the baby is coming and leave a little early? Secondly why would I try and get to know a doctor and have them get to know us if he wont deliver the baby just because he isnt on call? At the 6 week checkup, Dr Young had no idea who my wife was, he thought she had a C section, which I am pretty sure would be in her file if he had taken the time to look at it. We will not be going back to this office ever and I will make it my personal duty talk everyone else that I can out of coming here. As a side note the nurses and the ultrasound tech are great

SOOOO disappointed! I had an AMAZING experience with my midwife (Diana). I absolutely loved her. She made me feel very comfortable during my doctors appointments as well as during my labor and delivery. However, my experience with the billing department has been an ongoing nightmare for the past three months. Long story short, I overpaid my global fee by over $700. It has been, what seems like a never ending battle with my insurance company and Revere Health so I can receive my refund. The customer service agents have been sarcastic with me and have actually laughed at some of my questions I have asked about being given my refund. Dustin (a supervisor) told me and my insurance agent that he couldnt help us with our questions and concerns because he was "going to be leaving the office within 5 minutes." (This was at 4:25, they closed at 5.) Revere Health said that they were in the wrong three different times and have said they would repay me. I am currently awaiting my refund from them. My insurance has gotten customer relations involved now because of how uncooperative they have been. I will be going to a different OBGYNs office because I will be able to find a better overall provider. So disappointed with my experience.
