I wanted to thank Dr Anway and the staff at Mill Creek Dental in Nolensville. My daughter is 3 1/2 and fell on the playground, she hit her two front teeth, almost knocked one out. One of the two teeth became loose and the gums were bruised. The dentist had me bring her in right away. Getting my daughter to open her mouth was not easy, Dr. Anway and the staff pulled it off and got her to cooperate, I think all the girls in the office were helping encourage her to open her mouth. They spent nearly 30 minutes just encouraging her to open her mouth. It turned out nothing was fractured or broken and hopefully it will heal on its own as the bruise heals. The dentist told me her tooth will tighten if she doesnt chew anything hard or play with it, so far so good. To get her to open her mouth and take an X-ray took about 4 gifts from the treasure chest, a lot of patience and care, by the time we left she was adorned with all sorts of goodies from their childrens treasure chest and was more than happy to open her mouth for "the dentist" with not effort at all. I am glad this worked out because the other option was to go to different dental office and knock her out with a sedative, this technique was much preferred and clearly more healthy for my daughter not only because she didnt need to be drugged, but because it built a positive experience in her mind and made the dentist a not-so-scary place after all, and that is priceless.

My mother who is an Alzheimers patient receives her dental care at Mill Creek Dental. I receive my care there as well. Dr. Anway and his staff have an amazing ability to connect with their patients. Dr. Anway and his wife have a good spirit about them and are very approachable. I drive a little ways to get to his office but, when you receive the kind of care that they provide on a consistent basis, the drive is more than worth it. There are dental offices almost on every block and I have been to several searching for a place where I would feel comfortable because going to the dentist makes me just a little anxious. Dr, Anway helped to diminish my anxiety. I have only had this experience with one other dentist who no longer resides in Nashville. Before this dentist left Nashville, he referred me to Dr. Anway. I am very grateful that he did.

If I could give 100 stars I would. Never have I met such a kind and caring office, the entire staff are so friendly, so warm and caring you cannot help but feel as though they are your own family caring for your needs. I have never liked going to the dentist everyone has that fear, but once you walk in the door you get a feeling of kindness that cannot be denied. After my first visit a few months ago I swore Id never see another dentist! If you are scared I recommend you do not hesitate to give these guys a chance :)

I transferred my dental files to his office after one visit in which he took care of a very painful condition and charged far less than I expected. Highly recommend Dr. Anway.
