I could not be happier about the excellent service I received at Aspen Dental. I wish I had gone to them sooner! Everyone was so nice and helpful. I went in on a Wednesday for my very 1st exam and x-rays, they asked when I would like to have my work done. I told them about my upcoming work schedule and that I had a few days off in a row but that was only 2 days from then. They made time while I was there to do my impressions, and a couple hours later, my bite block. When I was done with my bite block they told me they could work me in to have work done on Friday! They fit me in the schedule and even more impressive they got my denture made in 2 days! I could not believe it! They already had all the info and costs figured out for me, and I was more than elated to find out it was way more affordable than I had thought it would be. The day of my procedure the conscious sedation medication I had been prescribed did not have much effect on me, they kindly asked if I wanted to reschedule and try something else, like an actual sedation. I didnt reschedule. I was so nervous but Dr Jansen and the dental assistant were so helpful in calming me down and helping me thru it. I was in and out if the office in a little over an hour. As I was leaving, my mouth was numb but I was smiling, at least I think I was :). I have and will continue to recommend and praise Aspen Dental to anyone and everyone. I honestly could not be happier and I am so thankful for all they have done for me. I cant stop smiling!! Thank you everyone at Aspen Dental! You guys are awesome!!! :-D

Patient from 2012-2016. Walked in for my appointment, waited 25 minutes to be seen by the x-ray tech. Tech told me the doctor was busy since they were short an assistant and possibly couldnt perform my procedure I assumed I had made an appointment for 2 days prior. Waited 30 minutes for the doctor to come "examine" me for literally only 20 SECONDS for him to try to schedule me an appointment at a later date to fix the HOLE in my tooth! Prior to my "exam", the guy next to me had to beg to be seen today to remove a tooth that the doctor confirmed had an abscess. He was waiting before me and was told to sit back in the waiting area and theyll "try" to work him in by noon!!! It was barely 9am! But he agreed because of his pain and not being able to get off work again. Thats my point, I took time off work to waste my time at this office. You knew what I needed, if you were unable to do it that day, notify me ahead of time, let me find other options or reschedule an appointment by phone. But DO NOT waste 1 hour of my morning with procedural b.s. that couldve waiting until the day of my procedure (filling) just to have me come in to fulfill what ever quota youre trying to fill for the day. After 1 hour of nothing they tried to reschedule me for an appointment 2 weeks later, I "politely" offered to find other dental care and walked out. Dont waste me time!

Got the job done (extraction), just really bumpy along the way- 1.Waiting room full of people who all said they had been waiting forever ( I personally got in 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time) 2. Dental Assistants were under-trained. My dentist was showing her Assistant how to use the tools during my extraction. Which was pretty scary considering Im paying for a professional extraction not to be a warm body for dental training! 3.They messed up in sending my prescription to the Pharmacy. I had to go across town to go BACK to Aspen and get it handwritten. Then they kept me waiting for another 10 minutes because "The Dentist is with a Patient right now." They were expecting me back (Pharmacy called and said Im going back to pick up the prescription) and yet they couldnt have it waiting for me when i got there? Better yet, they said theyve had that problem a lot with that particular pharmacy. Thanks for the warning, right? Anyway, the tooth IS out and thats the important part. As far as billing goes, they only do what you say to do and they charge exactly what they say they will. I have no Insurance so thats what got them my 3 Stars.

I was not impressed with their system. However, the lady that did my x-rays was VERY patient and nice. And because I have anxiety issues that was good! But, I asked for my husband to come back with me. They said he could come back when the doctor came into the room. I didnt appreciate this. My husband could have been there from the beginning of my visit. And when the doctor did come to consult with me, my husband still wasnt there. And that is after asking for him a second time. They did get him after the doctor told them to. They have a "business manager" that takes over the process after the doctor. She was OK but the approach was very mechanical and the cost was way more than I can afford. There were charges added to my "treatment plan" than were not needed. It was nice not to have to pay for x-rays because I was classified as a "new patient" and I have no dental insurance. But, since I do not wish to continue with service with Aspen Dental ... will I get a bill? I hope not. I feel their overall system is deceptive.

I wish I would read these reviews first. I chose this place based on a referral from my insurance, which said it was network. On the phone, I explained that it was necessary that the wisdom tooth removal be able to take place before the second week in August. I was told that was no problem. Beautiful office, 20 minute wait time, then the bad news. They were waiting on a new oral surgeon to join them and July was booked and the August schedule was not out yet. Frustrated that I had driven an hour and a half, I left with the promise of a phone call soon to schedule. After a month of no contact, I call to find out that the new doctor is not in the network yet, and August 30th would be the next possibility. They offered to refer us somewhere else. The lady did a good job explaining the situation, but she would not give me an explanation of why I wasnt called. An apology would have gotten them another point!

DO NOT GO HERE! Bloomington Aspen Dental is A COMPLETE SCAM AND FRAUD CENTER NOT A DENTAL OFFICE. you will end up with uncompleted work, shoddy work and have excessive amounts of additional inflated charges billed to you. I have had too many issues with this place over one procedure and am swamped in debt and incomplete work not to mention what work has been done has almost completely become undone. It is a scam and the office sales lady should be charged or investigated for fraud, credit fraud, and fired. I have way to many issues to itemize as I dont have the time or space to elaborate in depth. I only gave it one star because it wouldnt let me give it zero. Never felt so screwed over in my life. REPEATEDLY LIED TO AND OVER CHARGED. ALL WORK WAS INCOMPLETE AND THE REST BARELY PASSIBLE AS DENTAL WORK!!!!
