Came on Sunday to look at Rudy Project sunglasses, and received terrible service from the two people in the store. The woman there seemed clueless about the small selection of sport glasses, was hesitant to give me the catalog (and took it away and hit it, while I was using it), and kept pestering me every 10 minutes with "Just pick a frame and well order," and "Have you picked one yet?" Very annoying. The man was nicer, but was clueless about pricing. I got a quote of $300+ for glasses, and $400+ to have the prescription filled, for a total of 700-800. The glasses cost 175 retail, maybe 255 if he was including the Rx Insert, and the prescription should be $90 for the insert, and 150-300 without the insert. Either way, the total should come to 345-475, instead of 700+. To be fair, the man did say he was unsure on the pricing, and to come back the next day, though I found it disturbing that he was off by a magnitude of 2. Also, I later called back on a Wednesday, the clueless woman transferred me to someone who knew what he was doing, and I was quoted a price of $90 for just filling the rx insert, so probably some people who work there are completely competent, and its a crap shoot as to who you get.

I stopped in here yesterday desperate for a new pair of sunglasses. The staff were wonderful, very patient, and really helped me find a pair of sunglasses that worked for my lifestyle. I was looking for something that was both stylish but also could be worn when I go out bike riding or running. At the advice of the salesman, I settled on a pair of Maui Jim rimless sunglasses (with plastic arms). They are awesome!! They look cool, so I can wear them casually, but also work for running and bike riding, which is really important for me. The thing I liked best about the guy who helped me was that he really took the time to find out what I was using the sunglasses for. I highly recommend this store.

Went here with my wife 4 years ago. Had a decent experience and liked the higher end frames. Thought the pricing was a kind of high. My wife returned today and was not told on the phone that this place will not take insurance for eye exams any more. I know they make their money on the frames/contacts from my previous experience, but now trying to stick her with $125 exam bill on top of pricey frames too. No thanks. Well NEVER be back. See how not taking insurance goes for you, Love Your Eyes.

Love this place!! Dr. Lund has been taking care of my prescriptions for almost 20 yrs. He made it possible for me to wear a progressive lens when no one else could. He spotted my pigment dispersion early on and saved me from losing my sight to pigmentary glaucoma. And yes, the shop has the best selection of hi end frames in the region. I wont go anywhere else.

It took almost two days for Mark to provide me with my prescription. They were holding my prescription so that I can buy my glasses from them only. I had to contact them several times in order to get my prescription. I will never go to this place ever again. There frames are unusually high priced.
