This was my first eye appointment and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. From start to finish I had nothing but excellent service. The ladies of this office were so wonderful and so understanding & Dr Rennie answered all my questions and was so so sweet. I found out that I needed glasses bad. Bad enough that they didnt want me to leave the office without contacts. They took at least a hour to teach me the ins and outs of contacts. Then when looking at frames they allowed me to wait to pick a frame until my mom came out of her appointment w/ Dr Rennie so I could ask her what she thought! Then after everything every staff member said please call with any question or concerned. If your looking for a wonderful, caring and thoughtful office this is the place for you.

Ive been going to Dr. Coleman for several years now and hes fabulous. Dr. Coleman is up on all the latest techniques and technologies and he cares about his patients. He very much want you, the patient, to know what is going on with your eyes so hes very good about explaining what hes doing and why and if there is an issue what it is and what can be done about it. The entire staff at Mt. Airy Eye Care is excellent and take very good care of you. Even through I only average about a once a year visit the staff always make feel like Im one of just a handful of patients because everything is so personalized. They know me, they know my insurance and can advise me on what my insurance will cover and what it wont cover. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

I recently had a visit with Dr. Rennie at the Mt Airy Eye Care office. The staff was extremely courteous and the Dr was, as expected, fantastic. Everything was on-time and everyone seemed to enjoy their job. The explanations were clear and concise and Dr. Rennie was only too happy to answer all my questions. After the examination I needed to find some frames. I had the pleasure of working with Amy who was super! She helped me to select the perfect pair of frames and she was extremely patient as I must have tried on more than 20 different frames. I would highly recommend Dr. Rennie and the staff at Mt Airy Eye Care

Dr. Coleman and staff are fantastic! I cant say enough good things about this office. The staff is professional and courteous, the Dr. is very thorough and takes his time to explain everything. On a recent medical exam, Dr. Coleman noticed a tear in my retina. He described this in detail and answered all my questions and concerns. He recommended a retina specialist, helped me make an appointment, and even offered to help me find a ride/driver to the appointment. Dr. Coleman and staff care about the needs of each patient, and I highly recommend them!

The staff and doctors are always very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and explained everything. Ive been visiting this office for several years now and will continue to do so. My husband is now also visiting this office and is very happy with the service, too. Thanks to Dr. Bender and all of the staff. I am updating my review about 2 years after my first review. I had an appointment with Dr. Rennie on 6/13/2014. Dr. Rennie and all of the staff were friendly, knoweldgable and helpful. I will continue to visit Mt. Airy Eye Care in the future.

Mt Airy Eye Care is an excellent place for eye exams, contacts and glasses! The staff there is so friendly and helpful. I always have a great time seeing my eye doctor and the other staff even though I only go about once a year. They have always been very helpful and very knowledgeable when it comes to what glasses and contacts to pick out. I have been going to this eye care center about five years now crazy to think that! I have always been beyond pleased with what care I received and will continue to go there for years to come!

Purchased glasses back in May, noticed a scratch on the lense within 2 days of wearing them. I brought them back and had to pay more for them to fix it via warranty. I was told it would take a week. Over 5 weeks later, they finally come in. I go to pick them up and there is a defect in the lense I had to have them fix via warranty. Now Im assuming it will take another 5 weeks to get them back. I should have probably gone to Wal-Mart or Allegheny Optical.

Mt Airy Eye Care is a top-notch eye care center in Mt. Airy. I have been going there for almost 15 years and have always had excellent and friendly experiences. Dr. Coleman and his staff are incredibly friendly, diligent and always willing to take extra time to explain or explore new options. I often refer friends (with or without kids) to Mt Airy Eye Care. Going to see the eye doctor is not a nuisance when seeing Dr. Coleman and his staff :)

I am always a little apprehensive when going to the eye Doctors as I have had a few injuries to my eyes over the years...and the thought of drops and bright shiny lights being shone and dropped into my eyes is not something I look forward to. However, the staff at Mt Airy Eye Care really put me at ease and even offered to use some new gizmo that eliminated the need for the dreaded dilation drops. Thanks for making my visit a little easier!

I was very tired of glasses just not being "right" from several different places (private and franchises) and Dr. Coleman was recommended and WOW!! I am delighted. Great staff, very efficient and helpful. They took the time to fully explain things I was unaware of and I have been in glasses now for almost 10 years. I cant say enough good things - staff was totally awesome as was Dr. Coleman. EXCELLENT!!! Highly recommend!

Mt Airy Eye Care Center has been wonderful to work with. I took my 9 year old daughter there, and all the staff was friendly and patient with my daughter. Dr. Coleman put her at ease right away by joking with her and making her laugh. I will be switching eye doctors for my whole family.

Took my daughter here after she failed her school eye test. They could not have treated my daughter better, they talked to her and let her know what they were doing to make her feel more comfortable. We love dr. Bender!! Watch out though, the suckers are made in china
