I agree with the other reviewer on Google reviews--Louis Ray. This by far had to be THE worst experience I have ever had with this location as well as my daughters experience equally as terrible. The eye exam went fine, it was the purchase of the glasses for myself and my daughter that took me by complete surprise. My daughters glasses literally fell apart, I mean screws falling out and arms falling OFF within six months of purchase! This was her first pair of distance glasses as her eyes had finally succumbed to genetics requiring her to wear glasses all the time as opposed to a slight prescription for reading. I had seen the Dr. at this location for many years off and on for eye exams and occasional glasses purchase before she retired and sold her practice to New Era Eyecare. Upon pickup of both pairs of glasses, they felt cheap and poorly put together. The Assistant there damaged my frames the first day upon pickup attempting to "adjust" them to fit my face. I have worn glasses for many years and know how to properly care for them. Even with extra care, both pairs of glasses didnt make until our next eye exam that is not due until December! I had to buy my daughter another pair of glasses out of pocket and I just ordered another pair for myself as well. The sales associate at the new eye care francise ( where I purchased new glasses) said the glasses I currently have from New Era are in such poor shape, she couldnt even adjust them as they were so brittle and cheap she feared she may break them. I have never felt so embarrassed in all of my life. so this is what my hard earned money paying for additional vision coverage has gone to--poor quality and craftsmanship that will not hold up six months let alone one year until the next exam?!! Also, New Era did NOT warranty the glasses, which I have never purchased glasses and not be offered any sort of warranty with the purchase. I feel like they took my out of pocket money as well as my insurance payments towards the purchase of the glasses and ran! when I inquired about a warranty, I was informed by NEW ERA there was no warranty and any repairs and/or replacements would be my sole responsibility. Will never deal with them again as the craftsmanship of their glasses is the worst I have ever seen. I just hope my glasses from them can hang in a few more days until the new ones come in. Just awful.

I had an absolutely awful experience here. New Era purchased this operation from the Eye Doctor I had been using for more than 25 years. I went in for my annual checkup and replacement glasses last March. The eye exam was fine - but the pain of trying to get a pair of glasses ensures that I will never return to this operation. It took four weeks before the glasses were ready to be picked up, because the laboratory had reversed the prescriptions between my right and left eye. When I went in, I looked at the frame and they had stripped the thread on one side and had driven an oversized bolt into the frame, leaving a quarter inch protruding which prevented the clip-on sunglasses from fitting. The had also bent the frames so badly that after three separate visits, they said that I needed to take the glasses to Clifton to get them straightened. So, after $800 and five visits, I was left with a pair of glasses which I could not wear. No one even bothered to say we are sorry. A poor excuse for a business in my opinion. They get one star, because there is no option for less.

Found this office through a great Groupon special! So happy I did because their staff is absolutely amazing! Especially Genesis, she made my experience a memorable one! She was so nice and patient while I was trying to figure out which frames I liked. The office manager Samantha was also very kind when it came to assuring me my glasses would arrive on time. I highly recommend this office!
