I cannot give better accolades to Dr. Phil for the life of our dog who is now 16 years old and still our same old pup although we have gone through some times of worry with the help of the Doc. Not only Dr. Phil but his staff take a very genuine interest in your pet whether it be for a medical check up or just boarding while you go on vacation. Trust me, if I had a sick emu, this is the place I would take that ailing bird to. Dr. Phil is that kind of knowledgeable Vet. You can tell he has seen from cows to guinea pigs besides our cats and dogs. Very thankful we found him and this office staff a long time ago. If this review seems "glowing", it is well deserved and extremely well earned. Thanks to all at Polo Road Animal Hospital. Accept no less!

After several months of battling my dogs skin issues with another vet and spending several hundred dollars in the process, my sister recommended I try Dr. James. Dr. James and his team were able to get her skin completely healed in a month at a very reasonable price! At the last visit, instead of trying to sell me more products (i.e. drugs and vaccinations - a common move with my prior vet), Dr. James gave me some more natural remedies to try and manage her symptoms. In my 3 visits his staff has always been very friendly and I love that I dont need an appointment!

Prices are good but I dont like how they treat my dogs. I had them board there and my dogs had no issues before they went in, now they dont like their nails cut and act as if doing so is going to hurt them. I was recently told that one of their techs got bitten from trying to cut a dogs nails so thats why they raised their prices. It seems like theres an issue with them handling animals incorrectly behind closed doors. They also force me to muzzle my dogs when theyve never bitten anyone before.

I took my Savannah and Bengal cats with them, staff is really nice, for my Savannah we saw a old veterinarians and let me tell u even of he just took a couple minutes to check him he nail it... he is really nice and i came back with my little bengal but this time was a lady and even if my bb is still a little sick she was nice and answered a my questions..... definitely I will come back all the time with them....i give them 10 stars....

Awesome staff......they love your pet and family too! Great prices and they always go above and beyond what you expect them to do. Love, love, love them! Hated to move to El Paso. Thanks for everything....you helped me to discover that my Border Collie was grain intolerant...now hes eating grain free food and happy and healthy, 2 year old!

Dr James and Katie are just awesome! Well actually, the whole staff is! Affordable, caring and thorough! We have have a senior Boxer, an adult Boxer and now a six weeks old Boxer and they have helped us truly in all stages of our dogs lives!! We just love them and are so thankful for this vet office.
