First of all, the clinic is not nice looking what so ever. Its very dirty looking, uncomforting, and old. Second of all, the majority of the staff is extremely unprofessional. They way they uphold themselves, and speak to you. I brought my cat in and the lady snapped at me for not holding the cat correctly for her to look at him. Im sorry? I didnt realize this was my job, why did I bring them here if you are not going to do the work or at least guide me in helping. Lastly, they are just plain rude. Im sorry my cat did not enjoy you cutting his nails but that does not throw him back at me. Do not treat me like a bad owner because you had a hard time doing your job. No matter the instance it should be their duty to treat the customers with respect and kindness. Will not be coming back. There are plenty of other vets in the Denton areas that are so much nicer, and probably more affordable.

Took my cat in to get examined because she was acting strange. They did a physical test and I brought a urine sample earlier in the day for them to test. They said they didnt have the results from sample back at the appointment time, that was ok. They determined by cat had FLUTD just by looking at her and how I must "not have noticed" her peeing on things before (had her for 7 years). Called me the next morning and told me the urine results confirmed FLUTD. I didnt feel comfortable with that based on how cat was acting and took her to another vet. BOOM. Did a urinalysis, other vet said she clearly had a urinary tract infection "a LOT of bacteria", gave me medication and cat is back to normal. I paid $150 for FPC visit and I dont believe they actually sent the urine in for urinalysis.

This is the best vet I have ever been too!! I have two cats and a pomeranian, new to the area and my cat keep trying to cough up something I found a vet that looked ok and Im so glad I went here. He is so gentle with your cat and really gets to know them and pet them so they have a great experience and less nervous. I have been to many other vets where I used to live and never seen one that loved and truly showed he cared for the well being of your animal like he did. Getting an app is not usually an issue and his prices are fair compared to the other vets around this one, yes I did call and ask. Also I dont feel hes out for my money he doesnt suggest all these crazy test he tells the truth and all your options and what he thinks is necessary and the best.

I have been taking my cat here since he was a baby. Dr. Rainey was suggested to me by my roommate, who absolutely loved him. The first time we went, I was amazed by how fast he was able to calm my little guy down so that he could examine him (he usually freaks out when we go ANYWHERE and cries nonstop). He is great and genuinely loves animals (you can tell when he starts to talk in baby talk directly to the animals like you arent even there). They were very understanding when I had to take him in for his feline cystitis and had close to no money, and allowed me to pay it off in 2 installments. I absolutely love the entire staff.

This is our experience with this vet. When we first came it, the staff and vet techs were kind, listened to us and were very helpful. However, the vet himself is slow and does not explain anything that is going on. I had to ask multiple times to clarify what he was doing and what shots he was giving to our cats. And when I did ask, he would not answer me, instead the vet techs would. We felt very ill informed and left feeling like we were not in control of our pets health. The vet was kind and gentle with the cats but did not communicate at all.

Been going to Dr Rainey for over 15 years now. He is by far the best vet and I wouldnt trust my animals with anyone else. We have MANY pets and he is so good to all of them. I would suggest him to anyone and everyone if you want the best care for your animals. Even when it has come time to say goodbye to a pet in the past he does that with the most respect for the pet parent and for the pet. My pets are my babies and I trust him with their lives. Best Vet in Denton...hands down!

I wasnt able to complete the appointment. I gave up. The vet is quite elderly, walks with a cane, and could barely get into the room. I was there because I had discovered severe tooth decay in my little dog and the vet seemed completely unable to handle any animal. That is the only vet they have. The office manager said the vet has been in an accident, but really!

I have been taking my dog here since she was a puppy and I was referred by a total stranger. They are always fair and have saved me a few hundred dollars. Dr. Ramey, Mary and the rest of the staff are very kind and very helpful. I strongly encourage anyone to bring there pet here regularly.

I started going here because my cat was ill. He is very kind to animals and makes my often anxious cat feel at ease at the vet. THIS IS NOT A SMALL TASK. When my cat was having horrible diarrhea he made sure he could fit her in asap to do more tests. He is very caring, and very sweet.

They were really good with my cat. They helped calm her down because shew as really scared to be at the vet. The Dr. was able to diagnose her really fast. Of course, it was expensive, but all vets are expensive.
