We had more than one bad experience at this clinic over a 2 year period. Although we loved Dr. Clawson--he was wonderful and very professional--his staff was not. In the many times I called them (we have five pets, one of them a disabled cat) over those years not once was the lady who typically answers the phone friendly or personable--occasionally she was downright abrupt and borderline rude. Almost every phone call I made left me with the feeling that they are all too busy, too rushed, and that I was annoying them. I once sat in an exam room waiting for over an hour, and clearly overheard two employees bickering in an extremely unprofessional way with each other. That same exam room had old dried blood on the floor and seemed very dirty. Having worked in a vet clinic myself years ago I know how important it is to clean every room, every day. This room looked like it had not been cleaned in some time, and dried blood in the amount I saw is unacceptable. Our worst experience was with a chronically sneezing cat. On 2 separate exams Dr. Clawson told us she was not ill, had no infections, and it must be a "tooth" problem related to the sinuses. He referred us to an extremely expensive feline oral surgeon who removed 3 teeth and nearly $3000 later the cat was still sneezing hundreds of times a day. We were exasperated and finally sought out our old vet from where we lived before, 40 minutes away, who promptly diagnosed a chronic herpes sinus infection which is currently controlled by a $20 per month medication. All that money wasted and more importantly time that the cat was suffering from a mis-diagnosis by Dr. Clawson, not to mention 3 unnecessarily extracted teeth. While everyone makes mistakes and we dont expect our vets to be perfect, we do expect their clinics to be clean, their staff to be professional, and their services to quickly and efficiently help our animals when they are suffering. None of which happened at All Care. To say we were disappointed with our experiences at All Care is an understatement. We will never go back. We have returned all five of our animals to the care of our original vet 40 minutes away and despite the drive couldnt be happier. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone, unfortunately.

We have been going to AllCare for years and have finally had enough and will not be going back. The doctors are fine and not prone to recommending expensive unnecessary things. BUT the drawback to this practice is their staff. I boarded my dog there and also had him groomed while there. I wrote down on the intake I wanted a teddy bear face and short ears (he dips them in the waterbowl). At pick-up, I find that they had shaved his face and kept his ears super long. He looked like a rat with dachshund ears. Complete opposite of what I wrote down. Vets reply upon my complaint was that I could bring him back and have it re-done. I was furious because I dont think they could glue his face hair back on, and there was no offer of refunding the money. I also had a problem with getting heartworm medicine. They would drag their feet and make it very difficult to get a prescription to buy it cheaper online. I mean blatantly wasting my time, stalling the retailer. Last straw was when they gave the wrong rabies date to my groomers who then refused to groom him when we were about to have guests in town. So I made an appointment to bring the dog in for shots so that we could get him groomed (because I sure wasnt going to use their groomer ever again). I come to pick up the dog, pay $150 for all the things they did to him, and noticed that rabies wasnt on the list of shots or tests. ?? Oh, staffer said, someone typed in your last visits date into rabies slot. The dogs next rabies shot isnt due for another 4 months. !!! Your animal isnt going to get bad care, but good luck with this staff. Life is too short for this kind of aggravation.

We have had this vet treat our pets for a couple of years. When one of our dogs developed a problem with her nose bleeding, it was dismissed as something like allergies or a possible tumor. When the issue progressed and nothing ever got better, we had to do research on our own to find possible other causes such as a fungus disease. In order to verify the issue and get it treated, we needed to have our records transferred to a specialist and they drag their feet. They said they have been busy all day which is fine, but why should our needs, which started when they opened, take a back seat to their other patients which are getting routine visits? All we wanted was to get records transferred so the specialist would see our dog. Hopefully you dont need anything fast from this place because it wont happen.

I had lived in the area alittle over a year but was still taking my dogs "home" (2 hours away) to see their vet. In the spring one of my dogs got very sick and I had to make two visits to two different emergency vet rooms with no results. A co-worker recommended All Care so I took him there. They diagnosed the problem and he ended up having to have emergency surgery. The staff could not have been more caring and concerned for both my pet and for me. Their compassion was without comparison. Everyone there is so friendly and makes you feel like your pet is special. I could not recommend them more highly!!

Have been seeing Dr. Clawson with my multitude of pets for several years. Cant say enough good things. Always willing to spend the time needed - doesnt go overboard on unnecessary treatments, but does let you know what the options are incase you do want to go further with treatment. Reasonable prices. To address some other reviews - when I first start going there I almost gave up on them due to front desk staff as well. This issue has MUCH improved over the last 1-2 years. More people up front and much improved attitude. I have only seen the other vets a few times but they seemed super as well.

So far Ive enjoyed this group of veterinarians. Ive seen all but one of them and each has been very helpful and knowledgable. Theyve also been very generous and did not charge visit fees when I had to return to get my pups heart rechecked and then again a third time for an unrelated eye scratch a week later. This tells me they care more about the wellbeing of my pup than charging their clients out the wazoo. My only suggestion is to renovate a bit as the hospital itself seems a little dated but overall the service I received offset this.

Update 02/26: The primary vet/owner called me and apologized regarding my unpleasant experience. Certain stipulations were taken into account and a communications breakdown did arise. Shes allowed a second chance at making things right and wanted to make sure they addressed all concerns. This was a 24 hour turnaround which is good, the only thing left is to make sure all experiences are positive. Will update again upon future visits.
