I will never step foot in that office again. Brief synopsis of what happened: I was handed a 4 week old kitten Friday evening at 6PM. I realized it was really sick and hardly slept that night trying to keep it warm and alive. By 8AM when they opened their office, I was really concerned that the kitten may not make the drive over there. I went in and of course I didnt have an appointment (my bad for not knowing that I was going to be handed a dying kitten at least 3 weeks in advance). I went in and told them what was going on and without even looking at the kitten, the lady at the desk said, "Were double booked all morning. We cant help you." She hardly even LOOKED at me while she said that and then went back to looking at her computer. There was absolutely no compassion at all. I will never take an animal of mine to a place that turns away a dying animal without even trying to help. I ended up taking her to an emergency clinic and, yes, they agreed with me that without getting help she most likely wouldnt have made it another night (let alone to Monday when the offices open back up). I am still so mad that I wasted my time there AND that there are people like that working in a veterinary office. Shame on them.

I cant recommend Animal Kingdom enough. They made a huge positive impression on us when we were in the unfortunate position of putting our beloved cat to sleep. When I called to schedule the appointment, crying, they were compassionate and gentle with me. We arrived that evening and the staff had filled out all the paperwork for me---which was good considering I was crying so hard I couldnt have done it myself---and all I needed to do was scribble a signature. They quietly took us directly to a private room where we were given plenty of time to say goodbye to our kitty. When he came in, Dr. Ahern explained what was going to happen, and let us hold Panda while she went to sleep, and he said how sorry he was for our loss, and told us to take all the time we needed. Everyone, from the front desk to the doctor, were gracious and kind, and understood that we were going through one of the worst days of our life in saying goodbye to Panda. For routine care for our dog and cats, theyve been fantastic -- even taking the time to learn our kids names and talking to them during visits, too! Theyre affordable and kind, and really make you (and your pet!) feel appreciated as a client. I will never go anywhere else for my vet care.

I have been taking my dog and cats to Dr. Ahern for over 5 years. There is one thing that impresses me so much about him and that is the amount of time that he takes with you and your pet. I have NEVER felt that I am being rushed or that he is on a timetable with you. He is excellent at explaining the clinical issues and never hesitates to recommend a second opinion if he thinks it is in order. He is wonderful about returning calls. He also makes you feel that you are part of his team when it comes to the care of your pet. His staff never fail to be polite and to respect you as the customer. I have full faith in his clinical skills. In fact, I now live out of state in a neighbouring state and I still drive the 4 hours to come see him! He is a gem and someone who truly cares for the animals.

Excellent care our first visit at Animal Kingdom - they genuinely treat you like family. Very caring. From Sara at the front desk (there are other gals at the front desk who I did not have direct interaction with) to Dr Anna - very positive experience. Dr Anna is a true professional who greets you right from the moment she walks in the room (little things mean a lot too in my book..hand shake, acknowledgement, etc!) Very thorough...our dog is older & was literally on the floor for the entire exam - causing Dr Anna to crawl/kneel on the floor to complete what she needed to put together for her consensus on what best direction to treat our dog! Very happy with what I learned that day and how our dog & myself were treated. Felt charges from that visit were reasonable.

I took a dog to them a few years ago for teeth cleaning. I was impressed with them then, but decided to stay with our current vet in our home town. Recently, I took two other dogs for teeth cleaning. This time they had remodeled, the atmosphere was wonderful. The pets were happy. Animal Kingdom went above and beyond as far as service and price was reasonable. I am looking into switching all four of a dogs over to them for full-time vet care. The trip to Animal Kingdom is only about 10 minutes further, but they send out reminders by text and email to keep me up to date with my pets medical needs and future appointments. I look forward to my next appointment with them tomorrow morning :-)

The waiting room was a large open area which allowed us to keep our distance from other pets. The staff was called Buster by name and they were affectionate with him. The exam room was larger in size and the table could be moved out of the way. This allowed for an unobstructed area for the examination of larger pets on the floor. The Dr maintained contact with Buster throughout the examination and offered treats as positive reinforcement. The examination was quick and efficient and allowing time for questions. We were very impressed with the professional and friendly care we received during our appointment. We will be returning in the future and will recommend them to friends and family.

I love Animal Kingdom. Weve been with them for about eight years. They have cared for our Yorkie and many cats. But the love, caring and compassion shown by all the Doctors there is priceless. Making the decision to release our dear Enya, a DSH who was almost 19 years olds was one of the hardest things Ive ever had to do. Animal Kingdom was there with us every step of the way, through all the phone calls to decide what to do and lastly, making her as comfortable as possible in her final moments. Human doctors could learn a thing or two from the Vets at Animal Kingdom.

Dr. Oliver has been wonderful to work with in caring for our dog. She was able to problem-solve and help when others hadnt been able to figure out what was going on. Dr. Oliver is not just the person who cares for pets; she cares for the people who own the pet and has gone the extra mile to ease my concerns and answer my questions. So glad to have her on our team to care for "our baby". The staff does a great job, and I have been comfortable taking our dog to Animal Kingdom for several years now. The improvements to the building look great too!

Dr. Ahern & Dr. Oliver have been fantastic. We decided to switch Veterinary care centers after talking with a friend and their experience at Animal Kingdom. Robbie Dog first met with Dr. Oliver, and she was very thorough in looking him over and was very curious about him. Dr Oliver did not one bit seem scared of Robbie, as he is a big American bulldog and can be intimidating. Dr. Ahern did the surgery on Robbie, and did a great job on removing the tumor. Ahern made sure I had his contact info in case any questions or concerns might arise.
