Long story short, while redoing a filling, Dr. Waltrip went too deep into my tooth and now I have extreme sensitivity to cold and am in pain 24/7. The tooth was fine before she worked on it. She didnt return my call to talk about it, I had to call the office again and still no return call. Thanks to them I get to spend Thanksgiving with a tooth-ache. Im finding another dentist, as I also dont trust I need 3,500.00 worth of dental work she wants to do. Stay away from this place.

I attended this dentist initially for a cleaning after i moved to texas, he found many cavities despite me never having a history of more than one or two cavities. the one hurt so i agreed, he did multiple anyway. all teeth he worked on (2011-2012) now (2015) have had rot issues and needed root canals. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. every tooth they touched has caused me misery since then - none of the others.

I let them fix a couple of cavities and they did them too deep and upset the nerve. When I called and said it hurt 6 months down the road, they said it was just normal. Charged me for everything my insurance wouldnt cover. Long story short, I am still trying to fix the terrible work they did through other dentists. Thanks to them Im looking at getting a root canal. I dont recommend this place.

I highly reccomend Dr. Julie Waltrip and the Hill Country Dental Center. Dr. Waltrip is an excellent dentist, and also very kind and considerate to her patients. Her staff is great; friendly, efficient, and knowlegable. The office is beautiful and comfortable. Dr. Waltrip and her staff make going to the dentist a pleasure!

Their automated scheduling system is frustrating and their rude employees dont understand why clients (former client now) are getting frustrated. Plenty of alternative options in Boerne/San Antonio that arent in the back of a lumber yard.

Been going to Dr. Waltrip before it was even Dr. Waltrips office. I hate going to the dentist with a passion its not even easy when I go to this day. But they take great care of me and my family and know than Im no easy participant.
