I have had the absolute worst experience with Lee Dental services. From the very first appointment. I went in had the dentist do x-rays then she did a check up. she recommended a root canal but couldn’t do it in office needed to refer me to a specialist, ok I decided to pull the tooth. I go to the receptionist to schedule the appointment the woman tells me " oh well why don’t you just give me a call when you have the money to schedule its prepaid services." immediately I am offended This woman assumed that because I am young and a minority that I didn’t have the funds. I did so I booked the appointment paying 350.00. I then went to see my previous dentist for a second opinion he recommended I do a root canal. My next step was to call Lee Dental and cancel the extraction of my tooth and have a root canal done. They took a total of 5 business days to refund my money because according to them there was an error made so they cancelled the original refund and issued a second refund which was received immediately. Root canal is preformed March 22, 2012 by a specialist, whom told me to call Lee dental and schedule a buildup and crown. It takes these people 13 days to finally call me after several attempts on my end to contact them. The worst part when they refunded my 350.00 they made a mistake and refunded twice for a grand total of 700.00, note a mistake on their end. Today is April 13, 2012 still no appointment with the original dentist not only that when they went to refund themselves their 350.00 they made another mistake and debited my bank account 700.00 keeping in mind they never even extracted a tooth or completed a build up or crown. I am absolutely disgusted with this dental center, and still waiting on their incompetent billing department to call me back about fixing the issue. Oh and when I called them to ask why 700.00 was debited they acted as if I were crazy when I have proof of the two pending transactions in my bank account from Lee Dental.

Was looking for an honest dentist and I went to this place back in January 2015, the male dentist (in the picture) said my teeth looked good and I didnt need any additional work (which wasnt a surprise since I try to take good care of my teeth) I was excited to have finally found an honest dentist and good customer service. Went back 6 months later for my cleaning and was seen by a different dentist (she seemed like she was the new head dentist cause she was calling all the shots) anyway she told me I had 2k worth of work that needed to be done (mind you I had zero pain). I asked her why did the other dentist tell me my teeth looked fine just 6 months ago and now youre saying I need all this work (once again no pain). I asked to speak to the other dentist who saw me the first time and just so happens he no longer works there (maybe he was too honest? Or not bring in enough profit?). I found it odd I went from having no pain and $0 worth of work to $2k worth of dental work. I also found it odd that the dentist who helped me the first time was no longer there. I also did not like the vibe I got from the new dentist. She wasnt as friendly as the other one. Seems like she motivated by money. they tried to get me to put $500 down right then and there for all that work that I felt was unecessary. But on a good note the dental assistant that helped me both times was super sweet! I forgot her name but I would give her 5 stars if I could! Too bad she couldnt get me to stay. I will not be going back.

BEWARE! They say they take your insurance, but the 2nd visit is when I discovered that’s NOT TRUE! Not only did I have a surprise increased co-payment (more than quadruple), but they wanted cash or credit card payment (a couple of grand) up front before any work began! I asked extensively about this before seeing the 2 dentists but none of that was mentioned. Each dentist I saw spent 3 minutes or less looking in my mouth & that was it. If they knew they were not going to do any work, why didn’t they say so. The next thing I knew after each dentist left the room, someone was leading me to the desk for payment! The clerk told me that my insurance was actually like a “discount” card. I told her they failed to mention that, too, & she got very upset. Overall, I found all to be rude, liars, & evasive, especially when you ask a question they are not scripted to answer. So now, I am out of some money with no dental work done. That SUCKS!!! They promise all, give nothing, & take your money! Unfortunately, you cant give a minus 10 stars here but have to give at least 1. After all I went through and more, that 1 star is way too much!

You never know how much in total youll pay for your treatment! We have been told that our treatment will cost $1200. We made a plan accordingly and started the treatment. When were at crown part they asked us to pay additional $220 for a cost of third party work. I said many times this is your mistake it should have been included in the quote at the beginning but no way they will accept it. She tells me that we can go another place for rest of the treatment if we dont agree to pay additional $220. I heard this kind of suggestions from body shops but never from a dentist. Ill look for higher authority to get my money back but just letting you know for a fact that when you have problem and ask to see a supervisor, the people that youre having problem says he or she is the supervisor! So no way to complain really? Well see.

Will never return. What kind of dentist office has you make an appt for a teeth cleaning and then doesnt clean your teeth? Saw the dentist and then was told I would have to schedule an appt for the cleaning separately. What? I am here now? Why would I want to schedule another appt? Their reasoning was that they dont know how entailed the cleaning might be, so they might need more time for a deeper cleaning. Sounds to me like they just want to get more money out of the insurance company. Also, wouldnt allow more than two people in a family to be scheduled at one time. I thought that rule was ridiculous especially when I work and have five of us to schedule.

I am usually reluctant to try new dentists because I have been disappointed with my recent attempts in the San Antonio area. I have finally found a dentists office I can continue to visit! I had my appointment with Dr. Powell. She definitely exceeded expectations. I came in for a cleaning and a filling; and with the prompt service, I was on my way in no time. This is a family-run business which actually made me feel like a member of the family with the special care and attention. Ill definitely be back!

Rude front office staff and rude dentist I wouldnt go back, they charge you before work is done and always wanted to add extra treatments and acted offended when I told them I would only do what was needed...mind you they never told me what was needed I had to find that out for myself. Also important to know a filling has cracked already less than 6 months after it was done also a major cavity i was told had been fixed wasnt and now I had to pay for a crown from somewhere else....do not go to this place!
