I have 4 Siberian Huskies and went to Dr. Josh because one of my huskies had severe skin problems/ infections that just werent getting any better after working with another vet for 4 years. I am not one to jump quickly from doctor to doctor, but everyone in my life who saw pictures of my dog or heard my story, told me to seek another vet, another option, another opinion. I booked an appt. for this clinic and Dr. Josh ahead for the week after Christmas, Tuesday December 29, not knowing, of course, there was going to be one of the most vicious and damaging tornadoes to ever strike the area, on December 26. I had read and heard that Dr. Josh was unselfishly taking in dogs who were survivors of this horrible storm, lost or injured or both, needing medical treatment and a place to stay, until families could get their lives to a point where they could go retrieve their pets, or even until some of them had arranged an alternate place to live, if their house was wiped off the foundation or severely damaged. I realized at this point, that probably, the clinic would call and cancel my appointment, but Tuesday arrived, and they didnt. I figured there would be chaos there and that Dr. Josh really wouldnt have the time to devote to seeing a new patient with complex problems, and truly be able to listen and focus on determining a plan of action for my dogs care. There were lots of people in the clinic when I arrived, many who were volunteers there to help with the storm animals, working in shifts to make sure laundry got done, and that the dogs got walked and fed. I was amazed at the outpouring of help from the community. To my surprise, a surely exhausted Dr. Josh came into the exam room, shook our hands (my bf and I) and squatted down to take a good look at my dog. He also really listened to all the various treatments, antibiotics and wound care approaches that were tried over the 4 years. Dr. Josh knew that I felt this was my last hope to get my baby some relief, hopefully ending some of her suffering. He was not distracted at all by all the recent events with the tornado and people coming and going and the extra noise of all the extra dogs brought in and the sheer increase in physical demands. I felt we had his full attention and when I left there, I really knew I did the right thing. I am so glad i did my research and that I finally let myself try a new vet and I am deeply grateful that I made the right choice. Needless to say, I take all of my huskies here, one by one, switching all of their medical records and medications, etc. over to Dr. Joshs care. I promise, if you choose to try this clinic and Dr. Josh, you will not regret it. I have nothing but respect for him and his staff. They are all great and compassionate people.

Worse PLACE our family choose!!!!!!.. As you can see they are sooo fake!! They told us Shadow was perfectly healthy and all he had was foreing bodies. Than they were gonna do surgery on Wednesday and of coarse they couldnt cause they did what were doing. Than said his foreing objects has passed!! And he was eating and not vomiting and kept him two nights because I requested to see him. When I visited him Friday he had lost more weight and looked in so much pain. Than vomited alot.. so they wanted to keep him over the weekend in that condition!!!!!!! OMG my baby Shadow was in pain and they were killing him little by little.. So we took him to lake ray hubbard emergency vet and the vet told us everything oposite what they seen. She clearly seen foreign objects were still there and he needed surgery ASAP!! Dr. Ana and Dr. Josh didnt know how to do the surgery they didnt even have an ultrasound machine she admited. Well Shadow had surgery and am thankful that there was a vet that was able to get in there and find what was slowly killing him. And if they loved pets than they wouldnt tell us to keep him there over the weekend to monitor him instead would of done surgery and be real with us. Dr. Ana just sugar codes everything and even told me he hadnt lost weight with them and he clearly did. I know they dont care what happened they just wanted the worst for shadow!

Dr. Josh is an awesome vet. I have been taking my four dogs to him for four years. He also treats my horses. The compassion he has for animals was evident from the first time I met him. During visits, he always takes the time to explain things, never making me feel like he’s rushed. He explains things in a way that I understand. I always feel like he loves my dogs just as he loves his own. He has built a relationship with not only my dogs but me as well. It’s so nice to have a vet that remembers my dogs, horses and me each time we have a visit. Two years ago, my lab, Emily, was diagnosed with stage 4 liver failure. Dr. Josh was so compassionate during all the visits from the time she was diagnosed until her passing. Her illness progressed very quickly and I had a lot of questions. Not only did Dr. Josh take my many calls to his office, he would also call me at home to check on her. It was so comforting to know just how much he cared about Emily. The day I made the decision to end her suffering, Dr. Josh assured me I was making the right decision. That reassurance made my decision so much easier during such a difficult time. I highly recommend Dr. Josh if you’re looking for a vet that truly cares about you and all the members of your family.

We recently moved to the area and began the search for a talented and trustworthy veterinarian for our two furbabies. I came across Premier and after reading the positive reviews, I decided to call and schedule an appointment for Baileys annual shots. I cant remember the sweet receptionist s name, but she was super friendly and seemed genuinely excited to meet my kitties. The availability of an appointment time which didnt conflict with my busy work schedule was great! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with smilies and warm welcomes. Dr. Anna was absolutely wonderful. She was calming, knowledgable, and very gentle with my scared baby. Our appointment was near closing, so reasonably the staff was cleaning up and the noise of the "monster" vacuum made Bailey even more terrified. Dr. Anna picked up on it right away and asked that they pause the vacuuming for a moment. She rewarded him with a special treat after the shots and to our surprise he was begging for more! Dr. Anna and the entire staff made us feel apart of their family. I could go on and on, but if youre looking for an amazing vet - look no further.

UPDATE: We went back for our second visit - for booster shots - and you would have thought the Premier Vet Clinic techs were their long lost friends. My pups were so excited to see them and usually theyre tucked between my legs and in my lap all stressed out. Best news is they finally got my big girl "Ziggy" on medication that cleared her skin issue. Shes now sleeping on her back - all four paws in the air - feeling like a million bucks. Thank you Premier Vet Care for making going to the vet less stressful on my pups and on me. I love that they all love my puppies. My previous Vet just treated them like dogs and theyre more than that to me and they seem to be more than that to your staff as well. Loved having an appointment and getting right into a room when we got there which was much less stressful on my puppies. The treats after their visit was a nice surprise for me and for them. They were actually really calm by the time we were leaving the clinic. Thats a first. Thanks for a great experience..
