This is by far the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. The staff is friendly and supportive and made me and my mother feel welcome from the second we entered. They asked my mother about her insurance and when she said she had none they just smiled and said, "Okay, not a problem." When we went through the registration and told them all about past dental history they were kind and non-judgmental. The process took no time at all. We were then treated to a video from Dr. Nicholas himself. He explained all of the options we would have available for payment plans. The dental assistant was also incredibly friendly. I saw him interact with a few other patients and he was so kind and gentle. The dentist who helped my mom, Dr. Tiffany, was just fantastic. He took time to hear out my mother and offered her multiple options on ways to accomplish her goals. My mother needed extensive work and Dr. Tiffany took time to comfort my mother before getting started. He let her know that it is normal to be nervous and that if she is uncomfortable at any time she could raise her hand and he would stop. He also gave really clear instructions on how to take care of herself and how we would proceed. I was also impressed that everyone in the office seemed to get along and genuinely enjoy working there. They joked and laughed and really set us at ease. The coolest thing was that all the people we spoke to were bilingual. Though we speak English, we saw them speaking fluent Spanish to other patients. I cannot sing their praises high enough. I will send everyone I know to Risas and never forget their kindness. It was a truly inspiring level of care and service. Thank you, Dr. Nicholas!

The Mesa office Risas Dental is absolutely horrible!!! They will cancel your appointment after you drive all the way there, stretch 7 basic fillings into 4 or 5 follow appointments months apart, Stephanie is the only one who can give out quotes of dental work and she is never available and will not return calls, a crown can take 3 or 4 appointments (again months apart) to get correct, they can fit new patients in right away but if youre an existing patient with a tooth ache - count on waiting at least a couple weeks to be seen...and then another week or two to get the work done...and if its more than one basic thing, count on multiple visits to get that work done. Myself, my husband, and my 5 kids have used this location for years and dealt with their mistakes and all their nonsense. No thank you, spare yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. My family and I will not be back to the Mesa office. The Tempe Location is great if your looking for a Risas Dental location with no hassle, glad I finally found them. Everyone at the Tempe office is very friendly, they have reasonable wait times for appointments, the dentist was able to do all of my work on the same day as my exam to save me a return trip. My family and I will all be going to the Tempe Location from here on out.

Ive been very happy with Risas. The braces for my son were at least $1,000 cheaper than what another orthodontist quoted me. Most orthodontists require the braces to be paid in full before the work is complete. What Risas means about the $100 braces is that your monthly payments can be around that amount. We are paying $110 a month and thats been pretty manageable. Ive had braces before so I know that Risass more affordable price has not compromised their quality of work. The place is clean. The staff are friendly and most are bilingual, not that it matters to me. They automatically deduct the payment from my account and are friendly when they notify you if something went wrong with the payment. I changed banks that caused an issue. I receive text messages 24 hours before an appointment to confirm the appointment. Rescheduling appointments are pretty easy. I just dont have anything negative to say right now about this Risas location. I brought my son from a recommendation of a friend, and dont regret it. Id recommend the place to others for affordable orthodontic care.

I had a filling fall out on one of my back teeth and only 1/3 of my tooth is left. I called to make an appointment to get a crown, and the receptionist told me it would be almost 7 weeks before i could get in because i am not in pain and only have slight discomfort. I asked her if there was anything she could do or if i could see any other dentist at any other Risas location, she said no. She told me there were no other options. I asked her if she would want to walk around with a missing tooth for 2 months but she had no response. She acted as if it wasnt a big deal. I called another denitst and they got me in for the very next day. I have always paid for services in full and i have dental insurance as well. The denist himself is great but the customer service of the staff is very poor. I would never recommend this Risas location in Mesa to anyone. I will have a temporary crown from my new dentist office for 2 weeks until my crown is in. This isnt the first time Ive had issues with the staff at Risas.

Dentist is overall clean and the employees are friendly along with the ortho Dr.Young he is fabulous! Dont get me wrong it is cheap which is why its corporate. But I am very dissatisfied with their system. Ive had my braces on for 3 years and have been told every single time I go that its almost time to wrap up but see no progress what so ever, my appointments are very fast paced and I dont even get to ask questions about my treatment. Not to mention ortho visits are supposed to be every 4-6 weeks this last appointment I am being scheduled a time frame of 10 weeks!! That is ridiculous, when am I ever going to get these braces off. And when I seem to ask why, they just say they dont have any open appointments sooner! Well they should schedule appointments ahead of time that way i, along with others because my sister is also having this issue, can get in when the treatment is supposed to be done. Very disappointed. Do not recommend!

My and my sister have had our braces with Risas Dental for about 2 years. Appointments are schedualed every 2- 2 1/2 months! And when I need to reschedule due to unfortunate circumstances, they arent able to Schedual me in until another 2 months which is absolutely ridiculous! I am now needing to wait a whole 4 1/2 month just to get my braces tightened because thats the soonest they can see me. sometimes I feel as if Ill never be done with my treatment due to this! I was told I would only have my braces on for 1 year and we are way past the year mark and my teeth still dont look like they are near being straight. This is very inconvenient, I wish they would have let me know they orthodontist has a tight Schedual and is only able to see you every 2 months, I wouldve went somewhere else.
