Horrible place!! Took my newborn for her week follow up and they had a really rude and unprofessional nurse do the heel-stick test on her. The nurse comes in the room and the first thing she tells me is that the baby is going to cry and its going to HAVE to hurt- doesnt even say hi or mention her name. But it Is not true, the test does NOT HAVE to hurt. My baby had the same test done at the hospital where I delivered (Memorial Hermann) and the nurses who did the test let me breastfeed my baby during the procedure and I am not lying when I say that my baby slept right through it. So I decided to ask politely if I could feed her while she did the test and she said no because it was mandatory they be laying down, also not true. She immadierly started the test and my babys foot wasnt drawing that much blood so she started bending her foot back so she could get as much blood as possible. She was rushing the test not caring that my babys lips were turning blue from the pain she got 3 dots on the sheet done but I couldnt let her finish and just sit there watching my baby suffer in pain just because she wanted to rush through it and get it over with. I told her to stop and she got mad and left the room. I changed my baby and told Dr. Gendi what happened and he also didnt care and insisted it was the only way the test could be done. NOT TRUE. I changed to a new pediatrcian located on Fannin and what a difference it is from their office. The people are kind and welcoming and the nurse who did the heel test on my baby let me feed my baby and once again my baby slept right through it. I encourage all mothers to not stay quiet if they feel their child isnt being taken care of the right way. I am extremely happy with my babys new pediatrician. I honestly dont know how or where to report the bad experience I had in that office but I am working on it. The nurse at Dr. Gendis office who did the heel test is ugly, fat, and has tattoos all over her face. She is an ugly looking person from the outside and inside. If yall ignore my review and decide to go Dr Gendis office yall will know exactly which nurse Im talking about and once yall meet her yall will know my review is the honest truth.

WORST doctor ever!!! And the staff!!! He was rude and had attitude and they cut my 2 week old baby foot with a knife to get blood not once but twice and his foot was bruised and swollen. The staff threw our papers at us instead of handing it to us and we waited for 3 hours WITH an appointment! Dont take your child here you will regret it.
