The first time I went there it was great. they were awesome to me and my son... I have teeth pains/problems and was scheduled to have a root canal, the first appointment was cancelled by the office. I then had to reschedule it for another month (so I had tooth pain for another month!) and my appointment was for 12/7/2016. One lady had called me and asked me if I could come in earlier which I couldnt because of my work schedule and she said that was fine. 30 mins laters I was called by someone else in the office and they asked the same thing. I told her the same thing I told the previous lady who called me and she also said that was fine. Then about an hour after that I received another phone call stating that I must come in with $290 or they cannot do the procedure. So here I am again with tooth pain and not root canal and they will not call me back to set up an appointment, I must call them. Does anybody know of a dentist who actually cares about people and will stop cancelling on me because this tooth pain is unbearable. Im just looking for some decent and not someone who lies to have you change your appointment. if these people dont like their jobs they should get into waitressing or retail.

NEW PPL, NEW NAME, NEW NEW NEW I love it here now, everyone is friendly and great with my children. My son had his tooth knocked out with a basketball this year during a game cause I should have made him wear a mouth guard (even though after other parents laughed that I was. They werent anymore cause the following week there child was missing some pieces to their teeth.) Anyways the orthodontist did a FABULOUS JOB fixing my sons tooth, u cant even tell. Now he wears a mouth guard for all his sports and cant wait to be fitted for a permanent mouth guard when all his grown up teeth are in. The ladies in the front are always welcoming and friendly also and my oldest really liked them too because they seem to have had friendly talks when she comes in and that makes her feel special. My youngest lives here too. All 3 of my children love it here we have not had 1 bad experience and everyone has been super professional and always courteous to us! :-) thank you everyone!! First time I come to this office and I had a great experience. The front desk and the office manager are so friendly so professional and they had a cheerful smile the whole time. They are very helpful and informative. Jennifer the hygienist is very good I was very happy with my cleaning and the Doctor I seen was Dr. Stines she explained very well my treatment . They also have a treatment coordinator who sits down with you and explains all your treatments and cost her name is Jazzmyne. This office is amazing its also very clean and well kept, I will recommend this office to all my family & friends. Thank you so much to the Amazing staff at this office you guys ROCK! See you soon !

This is one of the worst places I have every been to. The dentist people that do the work are great but the rest of the office is horrible they dont explain stuff to u then they go ahead and charge u before they do the work not making it clear with u before as to what your insurance covers etc. before you even agree to pay for your half. The customer service is horrible in the front. I willl never go back to this place I should of stayed where I was before. I would not recommend this dentist office to anyone then I try to speak with a manger and that didnt help. So I am done. I wish I could contact a CEO of the company cause it is bad. Oh I wont even give it 1 star. O stars for me.

AS I WAS TRYING TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT THE YOUNG LADY I SPOKE WITH HAD SOME WHAT OF AN ATTITUDE AND SEEMED LIKE SHE WAS TRYING TO DISCOURAGE ME FROM MAKING AN AFTERNOON APPOINTMENT. THEN WHEN I DID PROCEED WITH FINDING A GOOD TIME TO BRING MY CHILD IN I READ THE REVIEWS ONLINE. I have been bringing my kids to this office for many years. This office is in the same location small smiles used to be but its a brand new office different people and different management. I love the change. The office manager Mariely is very nice and sweet very proffesional , the front desk are very helpful and professional also. Dr Stines is Amazing. Very clean office also they really take care of their patients well. I myself am also a patient of Dr Stines. I highly recommend this office. I ment to give this place five stars my phone is just acting up. :)

I love Dr. Stines. She is the best dentist I have ever had. She sees all of my family . She really cares about my kids and explains everything I need to know to keep them from getting cavities. After I saw how much she cared for my kids I started seeing her. I had a lot of problems. She really knows what she is doing and makes me comfortable. Now I sent my mom to see her too. If you have a lot of problems Dr. Stines is the best person to see. She is very serious and very nice.

I love Children & Family Dentistry located at 90 River street Mattapan, MA because the employees there treat me and my children with the utmost respect and care. They truly care about the wellbeing of my family dental hygiene and health. I wouldnt trade them for any other facilities. I hope theyll be around for a long time. I took my kids to this dental office and the manager, I think she said her name was mariela was extremely nice and proffesional. I asked her if she was new there because I went there previously and I got a really bad service but she told me she started in august 2011. She looks like she has alot of management experince and the front staff are all new and very polite. They did everything to accomodate my kids and me. Great experince.
