Not sure why the ball was dropped with my son, but it was... In response to calling, I did. I was argued with on my concerns. My son was scared. His anxiety at the dentist is due to a horrible first time experience with another pediatric dentist I wont name on here. I felt as if the explanation of equipment was being explained way to fast and not in a way for him to understand exactly what it was going to do. But when I mentioned that in our phone conversation, I was told by the doctor that she heard the explanation and felt it was done just fine. When the doctor came in the room, my son was fidgety, because thats how he is, and getting more and more nervous. His eyes started feeling with tears. Instead of taking me to the side and talking to me about options or even talking to my son about what it was that he was scared about. I was told (in front of my son) that she felt it would be best if we came back on a different day and put him completely to sleep and he wouldnt remember any of it. As my son heard this, he wanted to come back, and "go to sleep" having no idea what that really means. Being a nurse myself, I do. After we returned home I discussed everything with him about what they were trying to do that day, and what it would mean if we went back and he was put to sleep. He made the decision that he wanted to try again without "going to sleep" And thats when I called back to talk to the doctor about this, and was just argued with. Went to pearland pediatric with dr. Clark the next day. He did great. She did a thourough exam, he was calm and as she explained everything to him that would need to be done in detail. We go back tomorrow for treatment. And I have complete confidence that he will do great.

We have used Dr. Stagg with all three of our children. She is always professional and timely! My 3 year old recently needed a cavity filled. Dr. Stagg and her staff were so kind and comforting. My daughter is still talking about the stickers and prizes she got to pick out. Its all the little things that matter and this office has it figured out!

This Dentistry is not in any insurance providers network. We were told that the treatment would be fully covered by our insurance before we took it. But we eventually received a bill. The billing department said the "fully coverage" was just an estimate. So be careful...

Best pediatric dentist around, we will make the trip to Lake Jackson to see her - thats how much we love her! My kids have been seeing Dr. Stagg since 2006. She has the perfect bedside manner for children... calm, patient, and sweet. We highly recommend her!
