I read the other review and am saddened by the experience the author had.I do not know the date, but the lady working the front desk is a jewel these days. 5/6/2010. I have had similar experiences in other businesses and many small businesses underestimate that first impression. I have gone to Dr. Kay Scott for over 15 years because she is simply the best ! Dr. Meschler is no slouch either. I had puppies that ate bark that poisoned them and Kay was able to save both. I have done rescue as well as dealt with complicated issues with my personal animals. Kay and Dr. Meschler have been on target with the most comprehensive care available. I have gone to less and more expensive Animal Clinics, but I can speak from experience that you get an excellent value for your money with Dr. Scott and Dr. Meschler. Just screening exams with your annual vaccinations when done by this caliber of health care provider can reveal issues far enough in advance to make the difference in life and death for your pet. I want to say that not much gets by them and that is exactly what you want. These doctors are caring and the most dedicated . They pinpointed a complicated endocirne problem with one of my pets far before overt symptoms were obvious. Their diagnosis was confirmed by Texas A & M where they work closely with some of the best speicalist in the country. When I took him to A & M is when I was amazed at how good Dr. Scott and Dr. Mechler were and in fact the consult did not reccomend anything that was not already being done.

Dr. Scott is one of the kindest Veterinarians Ive encountered. She is knowledgeable and caring. I trust her with all of our canine babies. All three are Rescues, so we are even more picky about who takes care of them. A few years back, Shortly after rescuing our Bichon, he encountered life threatening issues and couldnt keep anything down. He was vomiting, lethargic and listless. She kept him on an IV for a few days and then had to perform surgery to find out what was happening. He had Acute Gastritis and hair in his stomach. After the surgery, he healed quickly and we put him on a Prescription Dog Food to keep his tummy in check. I am confident we would have lost him had it not been for Dr. Scott. I know everyone has different experiences with Vet Clinics, but I can honestly tell you - she is a Veterinarian I will continue to take my Canine Babies to. I have found their prices to be very reasonable , as well.

Both Drs. Meschler and Scott are excellent, caring individuals. I generally see Dr. Meschler. Hes the dog guy. My rescue dog presented with seizures at 1 1/2 yrs old. She was unable to keep the typical seizure medicine down...nausea and vomiting...Dr. Meschler research what else we could try. We began using an experimental medication that worked like magic. My dog does have to come in for tests twice a year to ensure her liver function remains normal. But without the extra effort by Dr. Meschler, Im afraid she would have suffered a miserable life of either weekly seizures or constant vomiting. Im so happy with the care all of my animals have received to date. We have been clients for over 6 years. Have one dog and 4 cats. I cannot recommend this vet enough!

If I could give them 500 stars, I would. My dog came down with a mysterious ailment very quickly. Not only did Dr. Scott and Dr. Meschler feel every bit of worry and sorrow that I felt, but they worked diligently to find an answer and medicine for this rare disease my dog is suffering. They both took the time to explain what I needed to know, provided resources and gave me advice. Even their receptionist and vet techs are so attentive and caring. Ive taken my dog here for years for the standard care. This office has always been kind and did a good job. I am grateful for these folks.

HORRIBLE last experience. RUDE staff and they nickle and dime you AND they overcharge by THREE times (compared to our previous vet in Sugarland). When we tried to talk to them about their costs, they refused to work with us at all. When we said we would not be back after being treated that way, they replied "OK! BUH-BYE!" Well be driving back down to Sugarland (an hour away) where we were treated with respect and not raked over the coles on costs. COMPLETELY unprofessional, which wasnt necessary.

I was a walkin and they refused to see me without an appointment or without my paperwork. I could have given them the number to call for it, but they refused. Speaking loudly from the back I could hear the vet being dismissive of my visit and I was told to leave. I went to Kings Crossing Animal Hospital as well. they looked up the former vet where my paperwork was on google and made the call and saw me withing 15 minutes.

Have been a client of Glade Valley for over 23 years. When I first moved to Kingwood, I interviewed every vet in the area. Dr. Kay Scott won my heart and my business with her caring and professionalism. She and Dr. Mike continue to care for our large family of dogs and cats and even though we moved out of the immediate area 5 years ago, we make the trip back to Glade Valley willingly. They are simply the best...

I was very please with this vet. I went to this vet after having a horrible experience at with Dr. Loree at Northpark Vet. The vet was very nice and did not charge me for unnecessary procedures. His rates were very reasonable and affordable. He gave me a free first dose of heartworm chews and a free first dose of flea meds, plus a free bag of puppy food. Awesome! Lovely! Highly recommended!

Havent been to the clinic. I didnt even give it a chance because the lady I spoke to on the phone was unhappy and rude. I had called 5 or 6 vets that same day to get pricing and she was the only one who was unfriendly. I felt like I was inconveniencing her to call and ask a simple question. She even sighed at me. Yikes! Certainly wont want to take my pets there!

Weve seen both Dr. Meschler & Dr. Scott & have nothing but nice things to say. Each has been kind, gentle & caring in their treatment of both us & our beloved pets. Taking our animals when they are healthy is routine, but the care & mannerisms when our babies are sick is what has kept us loyal to Glad Valley. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I believe in good customer service and from the reviews, i made a choice not to call this place. I grew up on a farm and the Doc would drive out at anytime of the night to help our sick horses. I wish that great doc did not retire, there are a lot of places to chose from in this day an time, just 2-3 bad reviews and ill keep away.

We love this place as they give our furry babies the care they need and more. They are very accommodating when we need documents sent out of town and they know that our pets come first.
