My parents recently switched to Pearl Family Dental after previously going to several other Fredericksburg dentists. They are very pleased with the care that they have received from Dr. Saravana! My mother will require extensive (and expensive!) dental work. From what my father tells me, other dentists did not take the time to help navigate through their dental insurance plans and what is/is not covered - unlike Dr. Saravana and his office. Based on my parents experience, I decided to make an appointment with Pearl as well. I do not have dental insurance but that was no problem for Pearl Family Dental. I signed up for their Pearl Discount Program and am able to receive simple cleanings and x-rays twice a year, for $200. Any additional services will be 30% off. This is quite fortunate for me since I have two teeth that must be extracted. Last year, another Fredericksburg dentist had simply referred me to an oral surgeon, but the out of pocket cost would have been a couple thousand dollars. Today, during my cleaning Dr. Saravana took a look and not only can he do it himself, but it will be MUCH more affordable. All in all Im so pleased! I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but Dr. Saravana and his team are very empathetic and understanding. I brought my MP3 player to listen while they cleaned my teeth, and they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Thank you so much!

We moved to the area last summer and I had put off finding a dentist as long as I could. I found Pearl Family Dental online and noticed the great reviews so I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did because Pearl Family is funtastic! I say fun because our visits were pleasant and stress free, unlike dental visits in the past when my children would be wound tight with anxiety. The staff is friendly and courteous. Dr. Saravana was very thorough and has a light touch- I had to have a crown done and barely felt a thing! His dental assistants are professional and I particularly love how they put me at ease. Most importantly, I do not feel rushed or abandoned when I visit (been there a total of three visits in a month between my children and I). The staff takes their time to make sure my dental needs are addressed and that I am comfortable. I do not generally write reviews but I had to give this office five stars and make sure it gets the recognition it deserves-- I was that impressed! If you are looking for a dentist, I cant stress enough that Pearl Family goes above and beyond and provides high quality dental service.

Dr. SUMITRA did frenectomy for my daughter during summer of 2015 and we are 100% satisfied with the procedure and the output of his work. There is not much waiting time. We signed a couple of forms and was let into the room with my 11 years old. The nurse told us what would happen, what to expect and how to hold down my daughter. Dr. SUMITRA came in within a few minutes, he took a look inside my daughters mouth, said she only had a lip tie and then explained everything to me. He was extremely thorough, you could tell this was very routine for him and his staff. The procedure only lasted for 10- 15 minutes and my daughter didnt experience any pain during the procedure. He gave us lot of information on post-op care and instructions to my daughter on how to take care of her mouth for the next few days. Its completely healed now and we can see the difference. He did an amazing job! Dr. SUMITRA is very informative, knowledgeable and professional. He is our family dentist now. I strongly recommend Pearl Denatl for anyone and its totally worth it.

Cannot sing enough praise for this dentist and his staff! The patience and respect Dr. Saravana and his assistant Joanne showed my sister, who has special needs, was admirable and greatly appreciated Dr. Saravana took the time to pull me aside to inquire about my sisters comprehension level so as to best communicate with her- an obvious courtesy but one which is rarely afforded her. It was a gesture which meant a great deal to us. Joanne literally held my sisters hand the whole time... We have insurance challenges and Joanne had gone, and continues to go, above and beyond to help us work through them. Finally, it was comforting to have everything explained in detail, including more than one option for dealing with necessary treatment in the future. By far the best experience at the dentist weve had. Highly recommended!

Pearl Family Dental is the best dental office I personally had the pleasure of visiting. I arrived and there was instantly a smile and a greeting as I walked through the door. Every employee I came across, even if they were not servicing me gave me a smile and a greeting. The dentist himself was very proffessional and took very good care of me. I needed a deep-cleaning and two cavaties filled. During the whole process, the dental assistants Daisy and Jennifer were nothing less of friendly and helpful. They constantly made sure I was completely numb and felt no pain and Daisy even held my hand!!. Best part I was out in a matter of 30 minutes! I would highly recommend this dentist office. I live about a hour away and definietly will be returning.

I have been going to the same dentist for a few years now and was tired of not receiving genuine care. I came across Pearl Family Dental and it was a great experience to say the least! I had a few fillings I needed to get done.I was dreading that needle but Dr. Saravana was extremely gentle and talked me through the entire thing. I felt at ease the entire procedure and completely pleased leaving. The staff was understanding and very helpful. Joann got my paperwork done in a timely manner and was very nice. Carmella helped Dr. Saravana with my filling, she was very knowledgeable and comforting at the same time. I recommend seeing this Dental Office over any in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area. Keep up the good work Pearl Family Dental!

I come to this office because it was the closest dentist to me but Im very pleased with Dr. Saravan is a very good dentist. hes very gentile and explained everything before he starts his work. he makes sure you dont feel any pain and he takes the time to answer all your questions, his staff is very kind as well. Its very easy to book an appointment and you get in the room very quickly. You dont have to wait in the waiting room . By far the best dentist in the Fredericksburg area. If you want good quality work and a great dentist that cares for your best interest, this is the place to go.

I visited pearl family dental with a very bad toothache. During my visit I found Dr. Saravana very professional and patient. He communicated very clearly on treatment options and listened very patiently to my opinions and thoroughly respected it without rush or push of any kind. He demonstrated his skills with almost painless root canal surgery. Due to such a positive experience, my entire family is now peral family dentals customer.We absolutely love how the office welcomes and takes care of our young kids. Highly recommended for entire family.

I made a mistake and came early too my (I thought) scheduled Monday appointment--I WAS a week early, I was definitely willing to come back on the proper day, but they let me in. The whole staff are extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Seravana talked me through the procedure for a tooth removal, having had trauma from other dentists (NH, FL and VA) Im finally happy to actually return to a dentist who can calm my fears and make going to the dentist, not quite fun, but definitely stress free. The cost is very reasonable too!
