Update: Dr Rusznak emailed me and has threatened me with legal action if I did not take down this review. Update#2: Dr Rusznak informed me that I had signed a document which says that a root canal may be required for dental work performed at his office. (That is very different from what I was told when i was in his office - I was told to either do the procedure or risk root canal if I did not.) Please note this is my personal experience. My experience at this dental office has not been the best. In summary i have lost my ability to bite/chew on one side of my mouth. He placed two crowns on teeth that NEVER needed them (I was told they were preventative). After the crowns, both teeth need root canals. Dr Rusznak offered to do the root canals but I refused any further treatment at his office. I had one root canal done at an Endodontist and they had to drill through the crown. The crown cracked in half after a few months. The second crown also needs a root canal now. Total cost $2400 The crown that broke is now not covered by insurance - $1100 is the cost out of pocket to get it replaced. He tried to pull a wisdom tooth out and broke it in half!! A 30 min dentist appt became a 6 hour ordeal searching for dental surgeons. This is my personal experience...I am not a dentist!

I was completely terrified when I went to the dentist. Its probably the only thing that I am afraid of besides doctors. All of the staff there were very courteous and patient, sharing their personal experiences with me as well as making me feel comfortable in knowing that Im not the only one who has a fear of the dentist. The price was a lot lower than I had originally thought it was and the doctor was very thorough in explaining any questions I had, whether it be about pre- or post-surgery, general, billing, or whatever. The nurse and assistant to the dentist were also very courteous, giving me plenty of confidence that my procedure, having a wisdom tooth pulled, was going to be pain-free, and they were right. The only pain I felt the entire time was the needles they put into your gums to numb your mouth before extracting the tooth. I would highly recommend anyone who is afraid of the dentist, such as myself, have no fear in this dentist, as his techniques are very quick and painless. I was in and out of the actual chair in less than 20 minutes. Also, the clerk gave me a tip that Id like to pass on to you: They always leave an extra slot open on Mondays, whether youre a guest or a regular, to go and see the dentist for any kind of emergency service.

It is not necessary to review Dr.Rusznak and his staff at My AshburnDentist,since they have a great reputation for over 15 years of practice. Myself ,I have been a patient of his for over 10 years,and the work he performed in my mouth proves his professional knowledge. After being at several dentist before, and have been placed over 10 implants, I have lost all of them in a short period of time. I was in panic that I have not going to be able to have teeth in my mouth ,because everybody told me that there is not enough bone. Dr.Rusznak is the only dentist that was able to resolve my condition, and went to the extent to suggest unique implant treatment that only one laboratory in United States can perform. Under his professional guidance I was able to maintain the new implants that have been placed, and my new teeth and smile are gorgeous. I was able to regain my confidence and function. Thank you Dr.Rusznak,and the staff at My Ashburn Dentist, for your help to regain my beautiful smile. Dr.Rusznak, will be highly recommended to any of my coworkers and family....

Let me start that My Ashburn Dentistry is a 1st class business. Dr Rusznak staff is very detail oriented, always notifying me about my upcoming appointment by (text, email and phone). Dr Rusznak always works around hes schedule for me, coming early and leaving late, not to mention that he gave me a huge break when i was between insurance policies. I also like to mention that the doctor and hes staff are multi lingual so they could talk to me on my own language for a better understanding. I would highly recommend this dentist!!!!

I initially chose Dr. Rusznak because he had such good reviews. I dont know whether hes racist or sexist (Im a female minority) but him and his staff treated me like garbage. They were very rude especially Dr. Rusznak and he purposely messed up my filling. I got fillings for my cavities and its been 7 months and it still hurts to chew on them. Very rude, very racist. If you are a minority do not go to him!!!

My husband and I went to see Dr. Rusznak last weekend. He is our dentist ever since our first baby was just 3 month old. And now we have 3 kids and still for our family he is the best dentist in town. I would say he is very thorough and a competent dentist. Pricing is also reasonable and his staff was awesome! They are very down to earth and also very professional. I would definitely recommend him to all.

In general, Ive never really enjoyed visits to doctors or dentists, but I look forward to my trips to Dr. Rusznaks office. Dr. Rusznak is an exceptional practitioner—a rare blend of warm and scientific. Whenever Ive had treatments involving pain medication, he slowly ramps the anesthetic such that I almost never feel a thing.
