Ive been a customer of V Eye P for 3 years now, however every visit seems to have had one issue or another, and Ive finally gotten tired of it. Way back during my first visit I purchased glasses and contacts. They attempted to charge me $120 for the contact fitting even though my insurance covered both contacts and glasses (not one or the other). They claimed they called and verified this,a nd when i argued with them they called me back and claimed they verified it again. I had to physically drive down there, call my insurance, explain what they were doing, and have the lady on the phone explain to them that I was covered. That should have been my first sign to just move on. When I returned the following year I had had an eye infection a month prior and it was still healing. Bhana insisted that I now had an astigmatism, and that I needed contacts that cost twice as much and I needed to buy new lenses for my glasses. Interestingly, the price they quoted me for just the lenses was twice what I paid the previous year for the frames AND the lenses (and no, this was not because of insurance). I declined to purchase both the contacts and the glasses and instead asked for my prescription on paper so I could order them myself. They were reluctant to do this however but finally obliged. In the end, my eye healed up just fine and my original pair of glasses work perfectly fine now. An optometrist should understand the healing time of an eye rather than pushing over priced lenses. This morning I attempted to call to renew my contacts and was told they dont see patients on Mondays or Thursdays, and that Bhana was out of town anyways and wouldnt be back until Thursday. Considering they are closed on Sundays and have limited hours on Saturday, that provides a very limited window to see an optometrist here. Overall I found this clinic to be pushy, over priced, and dismissive.

Dr Bhana & her staff are wonderful. I initially went there because a) she was on my insurance plan, b) her office is close to my home, and c) the hours are good. I have returned year after year because the care & customer service I get there are wonderful. The eye exams by Dr Bhana are the best I have ever had. She carefully explains all little details about eye care, exam findings, preventive care, etc. She explains WHY each are important; to me, that is a major factor in compliance & maximizing patient impact on eye health. My insurance can be a challenge, and I can be high maintenance, and all of her staff just sail right through it, and explain all that is going on. Keeping me informed of status of orders really helps make for a good client experience. I moved across country for a few months, and during that time my annual eye exam was due. I knew my eye care with Dr Bhana had been good, but it took exposure to 2 different optometrists out there for me to *really* appreciate the full magnitude of how hard it is to come by someone who provides the stellar eye care that Dr Bhana does.

I used my Groupon here thinking that I would find something different. First when I had my appointment, my pupils were OVERLY dilated---literally after my appointment I could not see well enough to pick out glasses & had to sit at a restaurant across the street for about 3 hours until I felt safe enough to drive, and the next morning I still had HUGE pupils. I had to drive back the next day to pick out frames, and the staff were not very helpful. Besides that fiasco (and huge inconvenience--I live about 30 minutes from V Eye P in Carrollton) when I got my frames that I was told were new & unique, I wore them to work, and since then have seen 2 other people with the same ones!!! And on top of that, the frames are too thick and I have trouble seeing down with them. When I called V Eye P with my problem, they told me they had NO refund and NO exchange policy--basically that I just had to deal with these! I feel ripped off and will NOT be going back.

I chose V Eye P because it was rated 5stars, to be honest it felt like a 2 star. The receptionist went over the process too fast..she was being short .. she ask me if I wanted my eyes to be dilated I ask her what was the purpose of that procedure .. she pointed her finger on to the paper and said read thats itll will tell you why .. she was incapableof telling me in her own word the benefit of dilating .. all she wanted me to sign here , sign there my exam was too fast.. it felt like they were rushing me to get out of there .. the optometrist said that I had stigmatism in both eyes , she didnt explained to me what stigmatism was.. this is my second eye exam Ive done in my life I dont know what stigmatism is.. and she was speaking way too fast hardly understood what she was saying..very disappointed not returning to this place again...

I found V Eye P through my insurance website just to make sure I could find something close to home and in-network. The staff BLEW ME AWAY!! The 2 individuals sitting at the front desk were polite and friendly. Dr. Bhana was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I was fitted for contacts as well as glasses. Christine took her time helping me pick out frames, going over my insurance coverage / payments and was just in general very sweet. I heart the entire staff, their selection of frames is fantastic, their equipment is up to date and their office is modern and inviting. I just left there this morning and am already referring family to them. Go see them!

I got a normal eye exam to get a new contact RX and was charged $200!!! I get one every year to renew my RX and my previous exam at a different place was only $40. As far as I can remember they exams were very similar, no frills or special tests, just a regular exam. So, Im not sure why V eye P thinks there exams are worth so damn much, I guess they really think alot of themselves. Anyway, I definatley was not impressed by the customer service and I felt the price was outrageous. Dont waste your time and money.

I have been going to this location for 3 years. Dr. Bhana is AWESOME !! I am extremely picky and not easily impressed when it comes to eye Drs. Well this one knows her stuff. She has imroved my eye sight, Im not talking just seeing clearly, Im talking about seeing better, more clearly and changing my perscription to a lesser power. The staff is top notch as well. I cant say enough GREAT things about V eye P in Carrollton. Try it for yourself youll be glad you did. Thanks again for all of your help, you guys are #1.

I went to this place today, oh god I hate the front desk ladys crazy mean ladies. I am not sure how this business is going on they laugh at the customers meaninglessly in-front of the customers. Is that they are doing only for Asians or ?. Really I got irritated with those ladies and top of that they gave the patient information form signed by others. I dont want to go back to them in future or refer any friends.
