I recently visited Dr. Tran for an eye exam for glasses and contacts and the service was exceptional. Dr. Tran is the most thorough optometrist Ive ever been to; my complex astigmatism required trying several different brands of contact lenses and he personally followed up with me after each trial to ensure we find the most comfortable fit for me. Dr. Tran as well as his entire office staff are extremely courteous and professional, and I always felt well taken care of---I never felt like "just another patient." I inquired about getting prescription lenses for my sunglasses (which is a discontinued model) and his staff went above and beyond their regular duties to find out directly from Oakley if they had any lenses available at their warehouse for this model. After several dead ends, they were able to locate the lenses I need. Dr. Trans office is a bit far from where I live but I will definitely return for all my future eye care needs.

I originally visited Dr. Tran at his UNT campus, so I was excited to hear about his new Little Elm location because it was much closer for me. I have probably visited over 10-15 different optometrists over my lifetime, but none provide the exception level of customer service that I know Ill receive when under Dr. Trans care...which is why I, once I discovered Dr. Tran and his UNT office, I returned to Dr. Tran time and time again with my eye care needs. Dr. Tran is patient and makes sure that his exams are thorough and accurate. He doesnt run his office like a factory and just try to churn out the most number of appointments and patients (like they often do at the optometrists offices attached to those big chain stores). I love that he really takes his time to chat with you and get to know you on a personal level. And the new office looks amazing! LOVE the look and feel!!!

Our whole Family LOVES Dr. Tran! Im the type of person to switch from one optometrist to another and Ive found one that Ill stay for life. Dr. Tran saw me initially for an eye infection, he considered the most non medicinal approach first, but still also prescribed me oral antibiotics for the peace of mind if I needed it. The second time was for my yearly eye exam for glasses and contacts. The staff is amazingly nice and very patient with me even when I had to bring my 20 month old baby with me. He explained what he was doing and also went through different contact lenses that would help with my dry eyes. He gave me some tips on home remedies and things I can do to keep my eyes happy and healthy. In all, I am very pleased with Wink Eye Care and I would definitely recommend it to any one who wants great eye care and an awesome doctor should all go see Dr. Tran.

My experience with Dr. Toan Tran was very positive. He is nice, personable, and knowledgeable. My experience with his sales staff was negative. If you need an eye exam, this is your place, but purchase your glasses elsewhere. Everything is overpriced. I basically paid $400+ for one pair of single vision glasses, with my insurance. For someone who is a first time glasses wearer, learn from my mistake and do your research. You can get at least 3 pair from Warby Parker, and they donate training and a pair to someone in need for each pair you buy, or Americas Best which had most of the same designer brands Wink Eye Care had and more, like Ray Ban and the Michael Kors brand I ordered. Also, they overcharged me by $100+ and called me back from home to get my refund. I would recommend for the exam but do your research for the merchandise.

This is by far the best eye care experience my husband and I have ever had! Dr. Tran is beyond helpful and knows how to communicate effectively to his patients. I have damaged my eyes due to bad habits from not changing my contacts and he is the first doctor to show me the ramifications. Due to Dr. Trans eye exam I have changed my ways and have become more aware of my eye healthcare. My husband and I were overwhelmed by the great customer service of the staff and how helpful each and everyone of them are. The choice of frame ware is by far the largest I have ever seen in one retail space and with so many great selections to choose from! The environment is boutique, clean and welcoming. I definitely recommend Wink Eye Care to anyone in the Dallas metro area. My husband and I will continue to be a customer!

In the past I had just done the cheapest possible eye exam and the bought my glasses from warby parker or somewhere similar...I had no idea how different a GOOD eye exam could be. Dr Tran took me through multiple eye exercises and told me what each one indicated for my current eye health and things to watch for in the future. He provided great and professional service and afterwards I chose two pairs of glasses from Winks excellent selection. They arrived within a week and they have been GREAT (Ive had them for about a month now). Anyhow, I had a great experience, all the way from when I initially set the appointment online to the very end when I received my glasses.

Ive been to plenty of optometrists in my life, and Dr. Tran has been my favorite. He is very friendly, highly knowledgable and professional. He answered all of my questions and explained everything he was doing during the exam. This was my first time trying contact lenses, and the first brand we tried I wasnt completely happy with so he was more than happy to give me another ten day supply (at no extra cost) of a different brand that worked way better for me. Im seeing 20/15 now and I dont even notice the lenses in my eyes. Pricing was very reasonable as well, less than I initially expected. Highly recommended.

Best eye doctor ever! I had been searching for another eye doctor as I was very unhappy with one I tried in Little Elm. I saw the Google reviews were all 5 star so I was very impressed. Wonderful experience from start to finish! The receptionist was so helpful and caring, and the rest of the staff was equally as nice. Dr. Tran was warm and personable. He is also very knowledgeable and really cares about healthy eye care. He was so good at explaining everything during my exam, and my eye problem and treatment. I have seen many eye doctors in my lifetime and Dr.Tran is by far the best.

Dr. Tran and the staff of Wink Eye Care gave my 16 yr. old daughter and myself excellent service and care. We were both tested for glaucoma, per our regular eye doctors recommendation, who also referred us to Wink Eye Care. Dr. Tran completely explained the types of glaucoma to us and went over all the test results thoroughly. From the 35 years Ive had to visit eye doctors annually, Dr. Tran quickly became one of my favorites of all time! If an eye exam for glasses/contacts or glaucoma testing is needed, I highly recommend him and his staff at Wink Eye Care.

Dr. Tran was great. She was super sweet (not condescending like a lot of doctors have been--yes Im bad about changing my contacts, but I dont need to be reprimanded like a child) and very informative. She took the time to listen to my concerns about my glasses, while others have just blown me off and said I need to get used to them. I love that they got me in & out quickly (and on a Saturday.) Everyone was very nice and I will definitely be back!
