Staff seem quite competent. However, I had a couple of issues. One, I was told that they sell contact lenses there for prices comparable to those online. That is NOT TRUE. I paid $300 for 4 boxes at Dr Sotos, but online, the same contacts and same quantity were only $206 with shipping, Secondly, when I picked up my contacts, I was told the office closed for lunch 12 to 1 oclock. I arrived at 1:00 but staff didnt return to open the office until 1:20. Ugh. And then it turned out they only had half of my contact lens order so I had to make another trip a few days later. Lastly, the clerk at the front desk, at first, refused to give me a copy of my lens prescription! I was annoyed, to say the least. She said " well, you have already purchased a one-year supply of contacts". I said " I paid for an eye exam and I am not leaving without a copy of my prescription!" She finally gave it to me , with a notation that I had purchased a one-year supply of contact. Oh brother! I will return because Dr. Soto is an excellent eye doctor. But I wont be buying contacts from them any longer.

The service at Rockport Eye Associates is top of the line. Dr. Soto is caring, gentle, but very serious when Im t comes to delivering the best eye care. Highly recommend!
