I started taking my pups to Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospital after my little buddie Augie got a spot on one of his ears and another Vet had recommended cutting the end of his ear off without even having it tested to verify if it was cancer. When he told me that he did 3 or 4 of these surgeries each week and that Augie might go into shock and die if he tried to biopsy the spot on such a small dog, I thought that was just crazy. When I called RFCAH to get a second opinion, Dr. Hartung told me to come in and she would check it out. When she looked at the spot, she instantly said it didnt look like cancer to her and that it looked more like scar tissue. She did the biopsy (Augie had absolutely no adverse reaction to this), and we were able to verify that it was not cancer. She said the spot would heal over time and sure enough, the spot went away and all is well. I now take Augie and Brendal for all of their care and the team is awesome. If you have a question, one of the Drs always calls you back right away, the service is great, they send you electronic copies of your reports, and they have a great website where you can also track the health history of your pets. I drive almost an hour to see them when I have other options that are closer, but I know I am getting the best care with them and my pups are worth every minute of the extra drive time : )

We are long time customers of RFCAH. I was just looking over your website, and wanted to send some of my thoughts. I first met Dr. Hartung around 11 years ago when I brought her our demented beagle (rest her soul). She has seen us through happy and sad times, with style and grace. I consider her a trusted and revered member of our family. Also, Dana has done some pet-sitting for us, and I know that I can call her anytime with questions/concerns about our pets, and I can trust her judgement and advice. I really appreciate that. We recently had our new addition, Vik the Icelandic Sheepdog, neutered by Dr. Hartung. He developed some post-op complications, and we were immediately invited in for evaluation. That gave me the opportunity to meet Dr. Maillet. I was very impressed with her ability to listen to my concerns, and how she expertly figured out the problem. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and I trusted her right away. Im happy to report that Vik is feeling SO much better today. Me, too, as I was very worried about him. Jasmine had her annual physical at RFCAH. Dr. Maillet was her vet, and Jasmine loves her. The service of all of the staff was excellent, warm, and friendly, as usual. We trust their judgement, recommendations, and advice, and rely on their expertise. The personal touch, such as prompt phone calls after visits and procedures to check on our pet, report test results, etc., are exceptional, as well. The new remodel of the facility is very nice and inviting, too. We love RFCAH! I have been bringing our pets to RFCAH since 1995. We appreciate and value all of the veterinarians and their staff. All are professional in every way. Jasmine and I are now a Pet Partners Pet Therapy Team, and RFCAH was integral in recommending us and in assisting us with all of the paperwork necessary regarding the veterinary part of the application process. Thank you, RFCAH staff! We love you! You are the best veterinary clinic we have ever experienced! Kudos! Bravo! Last week we realized that we would need to put our 13.5 year old lab down. We set the appointment for Tuesday at 10:00a.m. -- Our dear lab Dylan, spent the night with us on the family room floor and all the kids got to say goodbye. His last gift to us was to pass away about 2:30a.m. Tuesday on his own. We contacted Redmond Fall City Hospital and they helped us take care of the final steps. When we arrived, we were embraced by a caring staff that assisted us in placing Dylan for his cremation. They were incredibly caring and supportive. I would highly recommend them to anyone that loves dogs and cares for every step in the journey of life. We will be bringing our little boy (3lb chihuahua) in for neutering. They do everything great. Thank you Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospital. Thank you for taking care of us and of Dylan.

Weve only had to take our cat into a vet a couple times in 15 years, so we dont exactly have a specified clinic. The time had come to make an appt. and after reading the reviews, we decided to take him into the Redmond-Fall City Animal Hospital. We couldnt have been more pleased with the care they used in handling the situation, and our cat. The doctor diagnosed the problem, drew blood, prescribed medication (at a reasonable rate) and we were on our way within an hour. The most impressive part was the service, from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctor. Everyone made the experience a painless one. I recommend this clinic to anyone who appreciates great service with people who openly care about your animal as much as you do!

well this might sound a little cheesy but here goes.........Dr Maillet and Hartung are way beyond exceptional and caring, these are the kind of people that we need more of in life, I started going there about 4 years ago and had to have my black lab in and out frequently so i was able to actually really get to know them and helpful staff. They are definatley not out to empty your wallet and would return my phone calls and emails promptly ( i probably abused this) it always seemed they would go the extra mile, and are very very knowledgeable. i can not express my gratitude enough, thank you so much to you and your staff i do not have one complaint (except it was not closer to home) these are people you can trust your pets life with

Redmond Fall City Animal Hospital is a rare find. I cant even begin to explain what a comfort it is to know that when/if my pooch is ill there is somewhere I can take him and have peace of mind he is getting the absolute best care by people who truly love animals and are experts. He had a respiratory infection a couple of months back, Dr. Engal called on the weekend just to see how he was doing, and then remembered to call at the end of his antibiotic prescription to check in again. She was such a comfort to me and has won me over as a lifelong loyalist to RFCAH. I wont take my big guy anywhere else!!!!

Have been going to RFCAH for 18+ years and love it. I take my dogs and cats to see Dr. Hartung and she is the best! Very thorough with examinations and spends enough time at each visit so I leave knowing that my pets got great care and all my questions/concerns are answered. Dr. Hartung has a great approach to pet care in that she doesnt push unnecessary tests or treatments but will give you an honest and practical answer when it comes to making important decisions about your pets health. I feel fortunate to have such great veterinarian care for my pets and the rest of the staff is great as well!
