I went n because I was having pain between tooth 4 and 5. I never even physically saw Dr. Yu. He stayed behind me all the time, quietly said "Im Dr. Yu" and "Open your mouth". I saw only his hands as he inspected my mouth. He did nothing except expand my cheeks and lips a little. Then he told a tech, who I never saw as they both were behind me, "occlusion at _ _ _ _ _ _ _, " "Tooth 10 is missing", and some other things I could not hear. He said "You need the filling on the right upper replaced, thats whats causing your pain." He then walked out, and I still never physically saw him. Twenty five minutes later and no one had come back in to the exam room, and so I got up and looked at my xrays on the computer. Finally an lady named Amy came in and took me to her office and brought my wife in. She said, "I can give you a better deal than 20% off, Im giving you a discount of $1,000.00." My wife said if the discount is $1000 , how much is the bill? Amy said $3,600. I said what is wrong, because Dr. Yu never talked to me or explained anything. She said he had written that I needed seven (7) fillings on the lower left. I said you mean my fillings need to be replaced ? and she said "No you need seven new fillings." I said, "You mean I have seven new caries?" and she said, "No you need seven fillings." I said, "I need new fillings because I have seven caries?" She said, "You have seven occlusions and need new fillings." I said, "Are you saying I have cavities?" She said, "Yes you have seven cavities on the lower right near the gum line." I said, "Those are called caries." She said "Oh and you need the filling replaced on an upper right tooth." She went on to say that Dr. Yu said I had extensive bone loss and I needed a "deep cleaning" and a treatment they do for $1000 that will stop my bone loss. I said we would have to look into the money situation and call back. Now I am a retired county homicide detective and have compared dental xrays to decomposed skulls or xrays to xrays. His terminology, and descriptions did not sound correct (its not #10 thats missing, its the #3 first molar that was pulled years ago). He was using the term occlusions for caries. The occlusal surface is the grinding surface and if I had caries at the gum line that would be caries at the lingual surface. I went to another dentist 2 days later and was FULLY examined. I found I had ONE very small carie at #2 on the Buccal surface, normal bone loss for a 66 year old man, and there was nothing wrong with the filling on #5. The #4 tooth (crowned) has a small abscess and I need a root canal on that tooth. Everything else in my mouth is very good except for some tea stains on the lower left that he scraped off and said I could use a regular cleaning. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Worst experience i have ever had at a dental office. I went there to have a molar checked that was giving me severe pain, i could not get in to see my regular dentist. I waited for 3 hours and when i finally was taken in to see the dentist, i wish i had gotten up and left As i do not believe he knew what he was doing. I was in the chair for 45 minutes and underwent the the most severe pain that i have ever known, and i am 66 years old. I seriously thought that i was going to pass out. I had to stop him several times to tell him that i felt everything, but as a professional, he should have known this. When he was finished, they just placed gauze in my mouth, gave me some paperwork and a script for infection/pain and left the room without saying anything. I could barely drive home. I would never recommend this place for anyone. It has been 5 days now and still in pain. You get what you pay for, never again! I would leave a negative star if i could!

The tech who did my X-rays was great but thats where it stopped. I came in for a chipped tooth and pain in my right jaw. The dentist looked in my mouth n started telling the tech everything else that was wrong with my mouth and avoided my chief complaint. He took off his gloves and I asked him arent you gonna fix my chipped tooth. He said no . Said you need to come back for that. I was like WTF? Then to top it off I have Delta dental n of course they didnt hesitate to milk it then tell me you have to pay $700 out of pocket and charging my insurance $2000 .I had to put up $200 deposit then come back 3 more times after that. I left the dentist office with a chipped tooth and $200 short n my purse. I decided this place is only out for money they was not concerned about my wellness I did find a good dentist who had no problem fixing my chipped tooth and recommended me to an oral surgeon to see why my jaw hurts.

Currently have not visited the office yet. So Im going to kee this at a 3-Star rating till I receive service and go from there with an update I made an appointment online for a Saturday since working 2nd shift interferes with most appointments I can make. I get a call saying they need my insurance information and I state that I had noticed on their website that my insurance doesnt show as participating and that my insurance website states that they are provided. The lady cleary says " Well we keep our website up to date and your insurance must me wrong." In a snobby tone. So we hang up and I contact my insurance. I tell them the issue and they say that they continually have this issue with Aspen Dental. Turns out "Aspen" should keep their website UTD.... So over the phone customer service was not that great. I hope in person I can have an enjoying experience.

My appointment was at 11:45. I arrived at 11:35, and waited until 12:45 to be seen. They forgot to schedule me for an exam, even though it had been over a year since my last one and they said I needed one. They ignored this and spent all of 8 minutes on a cleaning that I paid $91 for (after insurance). The hygienists 4 kids kept running around, and 2 of them entered the room twice, interrupting the cleaning. The hygienist forgot to turn on the suction after giving me a rinse, so I spat all over myself. My beard and neck were wet with gross polish-filled spit and the paper bib was soaked, but she offered no towel or replacement bib. I was not impressed. On my last visit, a new filling fell out within a few days, and they roughed up the hole in my tooth and re-filled it without offering anesthetic. I believe I have made my last visit to this office.
