When our beagle was sick, we took her to another vet, who said that nothing was wrong with her... So we brought her to Dr. Carriker for a second opinion, and he told us that she swallowed some string and it was wrapped all around her intestines. He had to do a major surgery to remove everything from her stomach. If we would have waited one more day, she would not have made it. She has made a full recovery, thanks to the Dr. and his incredible staff, who truly LOVE animals! Not only did they perform a risky surgery that no one else would do, but they performed minor post-operation follow ups at no cost. Dr. Carriker saved her life, and because of him, we have more years and memories with our baby! We will be forever grateful.

Having moved to the area 2 years ago, we were refered here from a work friend. Drs. Lee and Matt are amazing! Gentle with our dogs, extremely knowledgeable ans animal lpcers alm around! I have refered many friends to their office for family pet care. Many years of practice and knowing the area, they have wonderful references for specialists and outside care beyond their realm of expertise, which helped our dachshund Ruby last year with back and neck issues. The entire staff is welcoming and helpful, would not want to take my dogs anywhere else for care!

Fair Oaks is small, but it is huge in heart. The vets are knowledgeable and friendly. They arent afraid to try, no matter what the obstacle might be. They dont rush you. I had to have a fur baby euthanized and the vet who was tasked with the deed made sure, the whole time, that we were comfortable and ready. He performed a thorough exam to make sure there was no other viable option. He offered hugs and condolences and gave us an opportunity to tell our dogs stories. They made a heartbreaking experience, not just tolerable, but not so heartbreaking.

Dr. Carriker is the best veterinarian we have ever been to, hands down. We adopted a disabled dog, and he has been wonderful with him (and our other pets). The entire staff is wonderful - very competent, friendly and extremely helpful. I have been to many vets in my lifetime of owning pets, and this is by far the best place (and best vet) that we have ever been to. We love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone!!

Dr. Lee Carriker has been our family veterinarian since I was 4 years old. Now 23 years later, hes still my personal and most easy going veterinarian out there! Keep up the good work guys! Ill stay loyal till the Carriker business retires completley. I know his oldest son Matt, will and IS just as special of a doctor to our furry babies as Lee.
