I work for a human dentist and recently I noticed that my 9 year old dog was developing bad breath. My veterinarian did not seem too concerned. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Ron at Mountain Parks Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Ron diagnosed, through dental x-rays, severe periodontal disease. My dog had several infected teeth as well as a retained root from a previous extraction done at my previous vet. Dr. Rons training was evident in the way he treated my dog. My dogs mouth no longer smells and he is running around playing with all his old toys. Thank-you to everyone at Mountain Parks Vet, you guys are really great.

This place just changed management and its horrible. We boarded our dog there for 4 nights and our dog was attacked while in their care and we didnt receive a call or found out in till we got there to pick him up. Afterwards we were told a different story by every person we talked to and never got a real answer. After every thing was said and done he had to get the cut glued together by the vet that was there but the bleeding still continued for a few hours afterwards.

Dr. Altman and his staff are absolutely wonderful. He is very knowledgeable he always provided excellent care for both of my dogs. On one occasion he able to diagnose my very sick dog and get her the lifesaving treatment she needed in no time. Later on when my dog had to be put down, Dr. Altman and his staff demonstrated immeasurable kindness and compassion. I highly recommend this vet! The dog boarding is great too.

Look no further, you have found the best! Dr Altmans staff works you in, even at the last second. Dr Altmans dogside manner is what I would want if I were ill! He makes a concerted effort to tell you why your dog is sick so that you understand what it takes to make them better. He is compassionate and so accommodating. Of 12 vets in 30 years, he is the best weve seen.

Took our 3 yr old dog in for an annual check up today. We had switched to Mountain Parks Veterinary a year ago when our previous vet retired. Found out when I went to the appointment that Dr. Altman had sold the practice recently and is no longer there. The staff was great as always. Dr. Dimeo, the new vet, was very nice. Just surprised to walk in and find this out.

I had two puppies with parvo. Doctor Altman was being amazing in the help he provided us. Him and his team checked on or pups every day. In the end I lost my baby Charlie. But because of Doctor Altman and his love of animals we still have our Sacha. Thank you all for everything you did for us. We are forever grateful. I recommend mountain parks to everyone I meet.
