This is the message I received prior to their response of my review (Done yet with the social media blasting? Just let me know so I can post my response once and be done with it. Well? So a lot to say on several social media platforms but not to my face. Im going to assume then that youre done with your childish ranting. Ill be posting my response soon.). Does this sound like a professional response or a vindictive one? I would like address each statement, however it would be wasting my time, as they are completely unprofessional a and its more about I hurt feelings, vs pet care. The review of me is full of lies. I have NEVER asked them to break the law, Chuck was fine with using vouchers for my feral/now personal cats. The review they gave is purely personal and unprofessional .. it is apparent the owners feelings were hurt and if I caused problems for months then why did it take them months to release me as a patient? It concerns me that since their feelings towards me were less than professional, the care of my pets may not have been caring., I helped patients in the waiting area if they were having trouble with juggling their dogs and children, cleaned up potty accidents. Over $10,000 and over 2 years I was dismissed as a patient from the clinic by Chuck Whitbeck, because, in his words, his feelings were hurt. This was caused from a post on my personal Facebook page to which neither he nor the clinic had access to. Apparently one of the two people in the clinic I was friends with showed him the message the previous Monday to my cat’s surgery. it seemed to be more about the money and less about patient care. It truly seems that way now. I am curious as to why he waited till the day of my 2 cat’s surgery to tell me I was dismissed. The surgery was on a Tuesday he certainly could have told me on Monday and I would have saved some money). However, surgery was completed and paid approx $200 to the clinic. I asked Chuck who showed him my post as they obviously thought it was important; however, he refused to tell me, saying he didn’t want to through that person “under the bus”. Not only did I pay for my 11 animals but I paid for several animals that werent mine. Some needed x-rays, a friend of mine had animals that need to be spayed and neutered, shots, medications. All those bills were paid for, yet Chuck told me they had thousands of dollars in collections from patients. Im curious if those patients were ever dismissed. The veterinarian who completed the surgery called me after I picked up my pets and apologized for not being able to see me prior to leaving, she was in with another client. The doctor stated if I had any concerns to call her. The evening of the surgery I noticed my female cat had a rattling in her chest, so early on Wednesday morning I notified her that I was concerned for my female cat that have a lot of chest congestion and rattling. She informed me that she could not follow up with me due to her employer contractual obligations and could only advise me to seek services from another vet. Im not exactly sure what kind of clinic or veterinarian would not follow up with pet parent concerns after surgery when the pet was exhibiting signs of being sick. When I called the clinic at 1:15 pm on the day of surgery I was told the cats did not have surgery in the morning, and they would be having surgery in the afternoon. My cats were then dismissed from the clinic at 3:00 pm. I have repeatedly asked what time their surgery was performed, yet no one has answered that question. I believe my cats did not spend enough time in recovery before being sent home. When surgery is performed in the morning, they pets are typically released in the afternoon, allowing for acceptable recovery time. My cats were still groggy and disoriented. I was forced to take my cat to another veterinarian and pay for an office visit, medications and make sure that she didnt have pneumonia so we had an x-ray. This cost me an additional $228. Being dismissed for a personal reason is completely unacceptable.

I cannot comment about the care because I didnt see anyone. Had an annual exam and updates to vaccines up the road at another clinic ($380 and 3 hours of time invested on a day off). I have hunting dogs and travel to PA often so I always keep them current on Lyme disease vaccinations. My vet up the road did not have this on hand since it is not prevalent in the South. I drove directly from my normal vet to Sango Veterinary Hospital to get this vaccine for my two dogs. The receptionist was nice enough and informed me the vet tech had told her I would need to have an exam done on both dogs before they could get this vaccine. That would cost $36 each plus the cost of the vaccine (Total cost in excess of $100 for both dogs). There was no way Sango Vet Hospital could either take a prescription or call my vet to ensure this was safe for the dogs. There was no waiver to this policy. This type of inflexible policy and lack of common sense does not make me comfortable with this vet. Unfortunately I will not return here because of this experience. UPDATE - To the owner - Thanks for the reply. I believe you proved my point in the above post. The regulations that youve posted are your obligation to fulfill. It is also your obligation to keep customers satisfied as well (if you want to gain and maintain customers). To run a successful business, you must be able to do both. I can think of three options that would have satisfied your regulations and made me satisfied as a customer. 1) Waive the exam fee completely. 2) Call the vet that I just saw and receive a prescription for the vaccine. Or have a conversation from one medical professional to another to ensure that your concerns are met regarding the VPCR. 3) Sell the vaccine to my regular vet to administer so it could be administered without $70+ in exam fees Im sure that there are more ways to make me a satisfied customer, but those are just a few I have come up with from the top of my head. Unfortunately, when people ask for my recommendation regarding vets in the area I will not be able to send them to your facility - not because of the type of care (Im sure its great) but because of your inability to satisfy a customer and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines. My opinion is that your hospital is not customer oriented. I believe your response clearly illustrates this because you have only provided a definition for VPCR instead of evaluating the way your staff handled this issue. By the way, this whole issue was resolved at my own vet by option #3 after another clinic (not yours) sold my vet the vaccine to administer it with my own vet maintaining the VPCR.

This place saved my moms dog. He needed an operation and my mother is on a fixed income. All these years paying banner health for there wellness plan and they wouldnt except payments from my mother. She only had 300 dollars to put down on what they said was a 2000 dollar sugery. Sango veterinary clinic. Saw my mothers dog and was only worried about his well being. They did the sugery the same night. And allowed my mother to make a few payments on the sugery. Keep in mind we where not patients at this facility. These are the most caring people I have ever met. Are vet and her husband where confident loving people. God bless this place for what they do for Gods creatures. They also did the sugery for less than half of what we where quoted from other facilities. They also didnt have to do what the other vets had told us they would have to do. Which was a much more difficult sugery. All I can say is my mothers dog will go to this vet forever. And any other animals within our family will do the same. If you love your animals as much as we do. I would strongly suggest that you take them to this facility. These great people will do whats best for your pet. Thank you to theses great people. My mothers dog God willing has many more years to enjoy with our family and its entirely because of the love and kindness of sango veterinary Hospital. Specifically the owner and her husband. Thank you so much. Words cannot express what you have done for our family. I will pray daily for this hospital. They truly are the best in my opinion. Thank you so much love the Ricketts family and that includes are Yorkie Buddie!!!!
