I just returned from picking up my dog from the groomer over at Companion. We were told upon pickup that our dog had vomited and sat in his vomit prior to our arrival. They told us to wait a minute as they were getting him cleaned up. We left the facility and quickly realized that our dog had an awful vomit odor. I immediately called and let them know he still smelled awful. I asked if I could bring him back and they said it was fine. Once I arrived, I was greeted by the groomer and she was extremely rude to us. She claimed that the odor was not coming from his body but rather his mouth. I quickly disagreed and let her know that he smelled worse than when we dropped him off. She told us she could not give him another bath and that it would not help anyhow because she was certain the odor was coming from is mouth. She was so rude and condescending and I let her know that I did not appreciate the manner in which this was being handled. We bring our dog to this facility many times and expect better customer service than what was given to us. She then proceeded to tell us that for $10 dollars more she would give him another bath. I was appalled and made it very clear that it was unfair that i would have to pay more when I had just forked up $58 dollars and he smelled worse than when he was dropped off. What a horrible experience and terrible customer service. I will never bring my dog back to this facility again. I am still trying to understand why my dog vomited in the first place. If they treat the pets the way they treat the owners, that is very scary and I refuse to risk the well being of my dog.

We just moved into the area and struggled a bit to find an exceptional vet, so we feel relieved and grateful to have found Dr. Cheryl and her team at Companion Animal Hospital. As soon as you walk in, the place is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly, efficient, and provides a smooth process from start to finish. Dr. Cheryl is compassionate and very knowledgeable, and we appreciate the time she took to carefully review our senior cats extensive records and give us a treatment plan that makes sense for our cats history. They even have a groomer onsite, which is very convenient. Our long-haired cat got the perfect lion cut and wasnt stressed when we picked him up. Finally, their prices are very reasonable. Weve been there three times already and have had a positive experience each time.

We just got a new dog and took her for an initial check-up and then to be spayed with Dr. Cheryl. After we lost our dog in December, which was another amazing experience with the whole staff at Companion Animal Hospital Oak Park there was no question about where to take our new family member. Dr. Cheryl and her whole staff are all caring, welcoming and very knowledgeable. Our initial visit and also taking our dog in to be spayed went smoothly. They always take the time to make sure you understand everything they are doing and recommending, and make sure you and your pet are comfortable. We are very happy with our choice for veterinary care, and highly recommend.

My precious Yorkie and I had a very welcoming visit with the staff and I witnessed many acts of caring and compassion for the pets and their owners by ALL THE STAFF.I stayed quite awhile and felt totally at home.My Yorkie is a rescue dog and he overcame his fears just by being there-sitting on the chair totally relaxed.They personally helped me with harnesses,questions,and always made time for me,The groomer made time to connect with my dog who just loved her-in fact all of them.He will be groomed Friday and I thank God for this great blessing.God bless you.

We took Rex to Companion for a grooming appointment because our normal location was getting a little to crowded. Rex was very nervous when we dropped him off, but when we picked him up , he seemed very calm. The groomers did a great job. Our second visit was to see the Vet. She was great! Rex can be a tough customer, but she worked with him. She was very patient with him. The people there are friendly. It is clean on the inside and outside area. Plenty of parking! Overall weve had great experiences here and will continue to come back.

I called to make an appointment for a certain date. There is no way the receptionist and I had a misunderstanding. She scheduled me for the wrong date. Apparently I missed my "schedule appointment" when that wasnt the date I had asked for. I guess, what I was more disappointed about was the fact that they never did a courtesy call. If they thought I missed my appointment they should of called to see if I wanted to re-schedule. It was a very bad start to a relationship with this Hospital. This is why I will try another place instead.

Companion Animal Hospital has a very kind and caring staff for both medical and grooming needs. My Shih Tzu is treated like the princess that she is each and every time we are there. Pricing is also very reasonable. My senior cat was in distress and they worked with me to give him the care that he needed to treat his kidney disease and make his final days as comfortable as possible. They were also very helpful and comforting when he passed away after 16 years of unconditional love. It meant a lot to me.

We took our 15 month old German Shepherd to Companion Animal Hospital Oak Park to be spayed. All the staff were tremendously helpful in explaining the process to us! We had only had our dog for 3 weeks at the time we took her in to get spayed and the staff at Companion Animal Hospital did such a good job taking care of her, warming up to her and not making her feel anxious or nervous. We will make them our go to vet for our Zola as we know she will be in the best hands while she is there!

Just took my new cat in for her first vet visit here since we were given a coupon by the shelter we got her from. It was a wonderful experience and Im so happy to have found this place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The vet tech and vet made sure to take their time with us and answer any questions with very helpful and detailed answers. I didnt feel at all rushed like I sometimes feel at other vets. Ill definitely be taking my other two kitties here too from now on!

Im so lucky to have found Dr. Hubbard and Dr. Cheryl both are exceptional vets. They are caring, very knowledgeable, and always listen to our concerns. I want to thank both for taking very good care of my dog and always there when he needs to go in. My dog was very sick and not walking, but with the care of Dr. Hubbard who does acupuncture my dog is doing much better. I feel so relieved and grateful to have found both doctors and their team... highly recommend.

We would travel 30 miles to visit our favorite vet of over 25 years. One day our dog got very sick and we couldnt make it to our vet and we took her to Companion Animal Hospital. They helped us so much with her but we were still skeptical on their diagnosis so we took her to our regular vet and the diagnosis was the same but the fees were less. We switched all our pets to Companion Animal Hospital.
