I agree with the previous review about the unprofessional billing policies. After months of disputing overcharging and undisclosed procedures on my two children, I paid what they claimed I owed and will be going to a different dentist moving forward. They claim that they dont know what the insurance will cover until after services are rendered (which we all know is a lie because they dont even see the patient until coverage is verified). They also dont tell you that your child is charged for adult cleanings at age 12 (your insurance will not pay for adult cleanings at this age) and you will be responsible for the difference in the price after your insurance denies the claim. They will also give certain treatments more often than needed and more often than your insurance will pay only to send you the bill afterwards (without disclosing this information to you up front like every other dentist I have ever been to) The good thing in the world we live in is that you have a choice where to spend your money and your insurance companies money. building and maintaining good relationships with your clients is the key to success in any business! You might scam someone else but you will not scam me again! So long!

My children have been going there for years, it seems each time we go there is an additional charge or fee that wasnt disclosed. I get one amount from one receptionist and one says its covered, then I get there and do it and they say I owe hundreds of dollars! One child had dental surgery in Sept and when I went for cleaning exams in March was told I owe $400???? I never got a bill and my insurance had no idea what the additional charge was for. I have been fine with the Dentists but the office staff is clueless about insurance and copays and you never get the same answer twice. I am currently looking for another dentist and have only tolerated this office out of location convenience but if I am getting told i have pending bills when I go but not seeing BILLS in the mail for services provided I will be taking a drive. Ridiculous to expect parents to pay unexpected amounts at check-up when you never sent them a bill in the first place.

Absolutely Horrible!!!! Overbooked for the staff on hand. My 18 year old was traumatized just getting sealants put on two teeth. The apparatus that was put in her mouth to make it easier for the hygienist, blocked off her airway thru her mouth so she could only breath thru her nose. She indicated she was having trouble but was just told breath thru your nose which she was having difficulty. Her hands started to tingle and she started feeling sick. The procedure took longer than it should. They redid one tooth 4 times because the dentist said the hygienist missed a spot the first 3 times. My daughter was light headed when she was finally done. She told me one hygienist talked the other out of telling me anything. My daughter could not stop shaking and crying for at least 10 mins after we left. She had all 4 of her wisdom teeth out 8 weeks ago, had braces for 4 years and neither one traumatized her.

Not the best place for children. Their first resort is to sedate children who are uncooperative, which would have put my children at unnecessary risk and be very costly. They treated me like I was crazy when I told them they were not allowed to sedate my son who has a heart condition (an order directed from his cardiologist). My kids would scream and cry when they knew they had a dental appointment. After every appointment my children would be gasping for air when they came out because theyd been crying so hard. We are now seeing a different dentist who is amazing. Both kids go in without an issue and fully cooperate. They now say they love the dentist. This truly makes me question what Brightsmiles was doing to my children when they went back without me.

As a healthcare professional, I did not appreciate the way the treatment plan was presented. I was basically "told" this is what we are going to do. I work closely with doctors and all options are presented to patients and their caregivers. They are never told "this is what we are going to do". Patients (and their parents) have rights and perhaps a better way to present the treatment plan would be to state: "This is what we found today and this is what we are recommending. Here is the alternative." And the treatment plan should be presented by the dentist, not his assistant. As a Registered Nurse, I dont give patients their results. That is the doctors job. I do appreciate Dr. Rogers and his staff but this one of my pet peeves.

After telling them I wanted to say with my daughter they look at me like I was crazy so they gave me a little tour of the place and told us to sit down she came back and said OK lets go so got up with my daughter and she tells me you have to say after I just told her Im not separating from my child I asked her why she told me they have to take some pictures?not x-rays so I sed why separate us for that didnt give me a straight answer then she said to see how the child is without the parent?apparently everyone there thinks its OK to leave your child with strangers and the only reason I say that is because I asked them I asked to say with my daughter and they acted like I installed them so got out of there freaking weirdos

My son has his very first dentist appointment this morning with Dr. Rogers and he loved it. He may have not let them do x-rays, however he let them clean his teeth and without me in the room prying his mouth open. That in itself is a huge accomplishment for us. The staff was all very friendly, the office was very clean and super cute! Usually I have to drag my 3 year into Doctor offices, well this time I had to drag him out.

If they tell you they are watching a few teeth that are developing cavities.... that means they are WATCHING THEM DECAY UNTILTHEY CAN THEN CHARGE YOU TO DO "Baby Crowns" They could have sealed them( but apparently didnt advise that..... said you have to request it) .. or could have done small fillings long before now. If you go there be viligant & proactive w your childs care.

I was pleasantly surprised by how open and accommodating the staff and Dr Chen were. We were referred to this practice for an emergency issue and they took care of my daughter quickly and kindly. They made sure we were both comfortable with every step of the procedure, and made it a good experience for both of us. Thank you Dr Chen, Kayla, and the rest of your staff!

My one year old recently visited Bright Smiles (with Dr. De Simone). He had chipped his tooth so I wanted him to be checked out. He did wonderfully and the calm and fun environment made by the staff made his first visit spectacular! They even sang to him during his examination and were wonderful with him. He definitely has his new dentist for his adolescence!

My daughter Deyanna had a first time visit today with Dr. Chen. Im am impress. My 9 years old left there smiling with her teeth shinning bright. The dr and her hygienist and the entire staff was excellent. I will definitely be back in 6 months for her next check up. I highly recommend this denitist. Thank you guys.
